⌨➟ Avery awkwardly stood there until the other began to move, “O-Oh! Ah…O-Okay?” starting of with almost stumbling footsteps, she followed her along with Meep.

She kept her hands close together and looked down at them, trying to not bump into Ixora in the process (although she had a few close calls with getting too close.), The trainer didn’t want to speak up, making the silence all the more awkward.

Ixora didn’t mind the silence. In fact, if the other trainer spoke, she probably would’ve told her to be quiet. She’d already heard enough of her sobbing and her voice didn’t make it any better. So, she didn’t speak either, rather she just entered the Pokemon Center and went to the cafe.

Unfortunately, she was immediately greeted by the nurse at the counter with something rather embarrassing.

“Oh, back again Miss Ixora? Did something happen to you again?”

Ixora quickly looked between the trainer buying her drink and the nurse and simply hurried over to the cafe. She didn’t need this girl knowing anything about her besides what she had been greeted with.

⌨➟ The things Ixora was saying made Avery want to be like her Mimikyu: furious. If only she wasn’t too scared to do anything. She shook her head no in response, almost disappointingly. Not to Ixoa, but to herself. Yes, she can’t think of anything else and It’s sad.

”C-Coffee…?” That was an..easy request? A little bit out of nowhere, but the girl did look like she’d be the type to drink coffee. She glanced down at Meep worryingly so she can stop with the hissing.

“Y-Yeah,” she sniffled, “I-I can- I can get you a c-coffee…..” Literally just so long as it wasn’t a Pokemon battle she’d be fine with it.

“Yes, coffee.”

Ixora nodded as the other accepted the request. After all, it was far from difficult to buy coffee. She didn’t wait on the other, instead she started to make her way to the Pokemon Center. She expected the other to follow her, to go to the cafe inside.

      “There’s plenty to try. You just have to figure out which types you like as they can vary from pretty bitter to pretty sweet. And You can always just take a simple cup of black coffee and add whatever you like in it. Like cream and sugar. They even make flavored creamers too for you to try.” He’s glad she seems so enthused about it, that she enjoys the substance. 

      “You’d probably like a latte– it’s made mostly of milk and makes it sweeter. It’s the closest thing to Tapu Cocoa I believe, though if you want one of those I can certainly treat you.” After all, she hadn’t had one in years.

“Oh yeah, I’ve heard about creamers before. The adults used to put it in their coffee all the time. I never got a sip of it though...I heard they make ones that taste like Girl Scout Cookies...,” A long pause, “I’ve never had those either, but I’ve heard they’re delicious.”

Though her…initial sort of a reaction might have been the most accurate. Tsunami admittedly at a loss as to how to react when her grandeur assumption of how a fisherman lived seemed to grow larger and larger with each word spoken. “Fish Pokemon are not a food source unless situations get t’ be dire. There’s non perishable food on board my ship that we can eat just fine.” 

“Aw, man,” Ixora’s feelings were seemingly legitimately really hurt. She rather enjoyed fish, even if they were sort of a bad food source. Besides, her times were dire, so she did have to go into the water and catch them a lot. Then she shrugged.

“I guess I’m not used to not having to struggle for food,” She said casually, “Usually, I just eat what I can find. So, you know, stuff from trash, fish Pokemon, the like...I really do like fish though...”
