This.
Asking that after a rape accusation, actual evidence be gathered and a trial be held for the accused in place of simply making them go straight to jail, does not make you a “rape apologist”. It makes you a person that wants rape treated like literally every other serious crime.
This was made at least 2 years ago, and still has to be repeated.

I think women can be important for men’s rights, but they have to recognize their privilege over men (trans included). People that identify as female automatically benefit from a society that prioritizes women over men. Even in countries like the United States, there is still no equality for women and men. In order for this equality to happen, women must be willing to listen to men and not talk over them when discussing female privilege. If a woman is a supporter of men’s rights, it is a step in the right direction because they are taking necessary steps to eradicate their higher station in society and sacrificing it for equality. I hope that one day, everyone will become a men’s rights activism because it benefits everyone. If everyone was an MRA, a lot of our problems would be solved. We need women to be supporters of men’s rights as well, since they can help teach other women the proper way to treat those that identify as men.
British people right now watching the news:
Woke up to this. If you are unaware, Nationalist is code word for Nazi. White Nationalists are Nazis with a different name. They are for “ethnic cleansing” which means Genocide. Nazi announces he is a Nazi.
And he wants to get rid of trans/non-binary folks. The same thing first happened back then when Nazis took down the Institut für Sexualwissenschaft (Institute of Science of Sexuality). They had so much data about trans folks in general and Nazis burnt it down with all the records and data. This is how a fascist regime starts.

Go out and vote. Vote in everything. Your vote fucking matters.
Also calling it “coming out” is gross
Yall need to read a dictionary not written by your own delusion... Nationalist is code word for a person who believes in and prioritises their nation and their sense of nation as opposed to globalist.
The Nazi party WERE also nationalist in nature, correct. But thats about where the similarities end...
note that whenever I say huge amounts of wealth can’t be gained through ethical methods this is what I’m talking about
To explain just a hair more, if a landlord can use someone’s rent to buy a new property, and use tenants in a new property to buy yet more property, it means every person who pays rent could have also eventually bought a property outright and not had to have such a constant drain. But, no renter could: for lack of upfront funds, for a lack of access due to racism or ableism or classism, for lack of trust given by financial institutions, etc. Put plainly, a landlord contributes no value or service but uses someone else’s funds to compound a landlord’s own riches and get more human livestock to bleed, simply because of a moment of permission granted by more powerful groups. How many people are suffering and struggling to keep an ex-nurse afloat in luxury? What is being contributed?
Sharing to save as an almost perfect short explainer for rent/landlord issues.
What is being contributed?
How about that part where they buy a house fix it up and then resell it. The fixing up is material and labor, that they put in as an investment that increases the value of the house. Fixing up a house also increases the property value of the other houses in the neighborhood. People will pay more to live in a nice house in a nice neighborhood. Nice neighborhoods also attract businesses that can cater to the needs of the people who live there and create jobs in the area. That is all added value.
Or as a landlord they own and maintain a property that other people can live in. That maintenance isn’t free. Mowing the lawn fixing any pluming or electrical or other problems that develop doesn’t just fall from the fucking sky. Landlords either hire someone to do that or they do it themselves.
The tenants can also be there for a while while they look for a more permanent place as they themselves move up in the world just like the person sharing this story did. A tenant might not want to actually buy a house if they don’t expect to live there for the rest of their lives, renting might make more sense for some people.
Furthermore you aren’t forced to rent a house or apartment. If you think it would be cheaper, buy a house and fix it up yourself. A landlord can’t force you to rent from them. Actually if nobody was interested in renting from them they would lose money on the property from the upkeep and would be more likely to sell it off to get rid of the liability.
As for the racism, ableism line of shit; make up your mind are these ‘slumlords’ and real estate owners bigots who won’t rent to you because even though you can pay they hate you, or are they trying to take all your money by any means necessary? They can’t be predators trying to take all your money and not rent to you. Or are they only trying to pilfer the pockets of people they don’t hate?
People are getting angry at them forhinest ethical work.
That’s how business works. You can fix old cars and sell them to buy more cars. You can buy ingredients for a dish and sell them to buy more ingredients than you started with. You can
Do you know how much work goes into flipping houses? And keeping up with things that break? Thats alot of work and a lot of money. And that isnt even a gaurantee that you will fonish or make a profit. As a landlord, you can be sued for things that arent your fault. It is a high risk/high return strategy. They were just successful. good for them. They earned it.
God damn rich people and their god damn hard work, investment and financial risk taking and money saving. This is why we need to adopt full blown communism with immediate effect!
How many times are y’all gonna make me post this?

People actually think this dont they?
Im Sick To Goddamn Death Of This Shit
This is going to be a long post about the EU and the legislation that has just passed yet another hurdle today. Im going to try very hard to keep obscenities to a minimum…
Articles 11 and 13 of the copyright diretive is what im talking about. What in the hell are they for those who dont know? The copyright directive in general is a new piece of EU legislation supposedly angled as securing the rights of ones work and gaining the benefits of their success online. The thing is it only works for the very successful. We are talking international musicians, film casts, publishers and tech companies. Names that you will know.
For everyone else in the world its going to turn the internet into a coin operated game of minesweeper. Articles 11 and 13 are the most pressing known often as the “upload filter” and “link tax”
The intention of these articles is to effectively charge royalties for the use of content shared online. You post or even click a link online to an article the creator of the article and the host of the website sees a royalty for it, paid for by you, the average internet user. You post a remix or a parody or any other form of what used to be deemed a “transformative piece” you owe the original author cash dollar or will have your content filtered.
How often do you see content linked, articles, videos etc? That all goes downhill or gets costly. Heres the thing. That small local band you know of and support? They loose out now they cant rely on sharing their content online without a fee. Small time artists lose out. everything goes south for everyone that isnt already a success or who isnt paying the established companies a cut of their contents revenue. Creators will need to pay producers and networks to get their name out there and regular internet users will likely see their bills turn into a metered system based on their use.
But it will only affect the EU right? Not likely. If a major company that sees a lot of link traffic like social media or youtube want to operate in the EU they will need to create algorithms that catch content as its uploaded to comply with the EU law, or pull out of an entire continent.
Surely we can have our say in the totally democratic system of the EU right? There have been campaigns involving hundreds of thousands of people across the world opposing articles 11 and 13. Thousands and thousands of emails sent to MEPs.
The vote went through almost 2:1 in favour by the EU Parliament, the body made up of 751 of our elected MEPs
But so long as Paul Mcartney and James Blunt get more money, who the hell cares if the internet dies…
Here’s the genuinely good news: as Burgerkrieg puts it, the final vote on the EUCD is within earshot of the next EU election. Also, because it’s a directive, EU member states are allowed to give their own interpretation of the proposal, so it’s probably not going to be a blanket Great Firewall of Europe that many said it could be. As well, Axel Voss recently seems to be having second thoughts about the thing he created. At this point, it’s anyone’s guess what happens from here, but it’s still important to contact your MEPs and your heads of government within the EU.
Aye, its by no means end of the road. Ive got my fingers crossed but i aint holding my breath for a good resolution in the near future...
“I hate being trans I wish I was cis” is literally such an unhealthy and toxic way of thinking please don’t surround yourself with people who think like that
“"I hate being depressed, I wish I wasn’t” is literally such an unhealthy and toxic way of thinking please don’t surround yourself with people who think like that" see? That kinda makes you sound like a good person, eh? People can’t just start loving themselves just because someone told them to.

You Cant Be Anti “Cultural Appropriation” And Pro Diversity
The future is here today: you can't play Bach on Youtube because Sony says they own his compositions
James Rhodes, a pianist, performed a Bach composition for his Youtube channel, but it didn’t stay up – Youtube’s Content ID system pulled it down and accused him of copyright infringement because Sony Music Global had claimed that they owned 47 seconds’ worth of his personal performance of a song whose composer has been dead for 300 years.
This is a glimpse of the near future. In one week, the European Parliament will vote on a proposal to force all online services to implement Content ID-style censorship, but not just for videos – for audio, text, stills, code, everything.
Just last week, German music professor Ulrich Kaiser posted his research on automated censorship of classical music, in which he found that it was nearly impossible to post anything by composers like Bartok, Schubert, Puccini and Wagner, because companies large and small have fraudulently laid claim to their whole catalogs.
Europeans have one week to contact their MEPs to head off this catastrophe.
Stop what you’re doing and contact two friends in the EU right now and send them to Save Your Internet – before it’s too late.
https://boingboing.net/2018/09/05/mozart-bach-sorta-mach.html
Realistically people need to sue these companies with fraudulent copyright claims. Also this is feeling like a challenge to figure out a way YouTube censors don’t delete music that is not copyrighted. Unless Sony has proof Bach willed copyright to them or they are a direct descendent you can’t claim copyright on something you didn’t create. If I had the money to be a shit I would send cease and desist letters to YouTube because their logo is infringement because I had a dream about it before they used it so I own copyright. Like flat out bullshit waste of time because it’s obviously bull… but while they are going through proceedings it puts them in the spotlight which they don’t want. Other than a stunt like that? I kinda doubt much will be changed. This is definitely a need media thing… except they own the media too don’t they?
Wow, this is pretty horrible. This applies to lots of newer music too. Several channels are getting content strikes for using music that was free to use 5 or more years ago when their videos were made, but now some company has bought the rights and going strike happy.
end copyright laws
Burn it down and rewrite them from the groundup to benefit the actual creators of IPs and not the greed-blinded corporations and publishers who do next to nothing in regards to the actual making of the product.
