Idk Here’s A Title

• is living around a lot people who don’t accept his identity

• has to fight to get his voice out a lot of times

• is working to get a degree in something that is definitely not easy to do

• has to live with okay at best people (mainly referring to one of them) at home

• and so many other things j could list that is giving them struggles like mental and physical health just to start

And is STILL kicking ass and thriving the best he can by

• getting his degrees

• making his queer friends feel included and loved

• making time for the people around him

• fighting for the things he believes in

• and a million other things

is still stuck in the quickly-becoming-more-conservative school i just got out of

has to fight to have her identity recognized by her peers

is leading the trumpet section in our band because lord knows the popular guy who got put in a position of power can't do shit

ALSO successfully convincing other people to join band because nobody wants to do that anymore, apparently

is defending her friends from fucking nazis on a daily basis, some of which get physically violent

is managing undiagnosed/unknown chronic illness on top of everything else

And is, in spite of everything else, is still

best trumpet the school's ever seen

carrying on the torch of being the Lighthouse Queer that i left behind

on top of that, being literally the best friend to everyone around her

openly trans because fuck you, she's so much cooler than all y'all who wanna harass her for being herself

kicking ass in indoor drumline (seriously, i used to do gymnastics and dance and she has a better sense of movement and grace than i ever did)

doing some phenomenal community outreach work in music education

plays fucking. any instrument you hand to her

is going to get accepted to the best music program our home state's colleges have to offer (listen i know you doubt yourself but there's absolutely no way they can pass you up considering everything you've done)
