The Adventures of J (x2)

It was one of those weeks where wings at Nando’s was inevitable. Our favourite location, walking distance of our flat in Battersea.

Read up on some olympic history in Much Wenlock, and ate lunch in Bridgnorth at the Jewel of the Severn pub. Janet picked up this candy pig, and this mouse book mark.

The UNESCO Iron Bridge World Heritage site, the first arch bridge in the world made out of iron. 

Started our day with some hot cross buns, and then jumped into a time machine to Victorian times.

Picked up these beauts at the flower market today! Also walked around Spitalfields market and Brick Lane.

Spotted this horse statue at Marble Arch, while on the bus. It is a bronze sculpture installed in 2011, created by British sculptor Nic Fiddian-Green.

The London Beatles Store was just as  disappointing as I imagined. Mostly enjoyed the front of the store. Huge queue next door for the Sherlock Holmes Museum.

As they slowly disappear around the world, this one still stands with the full name:

Faced the crowds at Selfridge’s for some Pinkberry, and managed to even get a table!

Quail egg with flaky crust, fried cheese with pepper and sugar, shrimp dumpling. Janet had a wonton noodle soup craving this morning.

It is difficult to stay in on a Sunday in London when there are so many sights, sounds, smells and eats to experience in Shoreditch.

Janet took part in this cool workshop in Shoreditch.

Our friend Kayvon came all the way out from Belfast and we were lucky enough to share some of his time.

At the Conservatoire we did a lino printing 'taster session' they were hosting.
