This includes, but is not limited to; Microsoft Edge, Vivaldi, Brave (which doesn’t run Google ads but imo is more intrusive with it’s own) and literally every flavour of Opera.

There are alternatives that strip away power from Google’s grubby hands while not having to learn to use a new web browser such as Ungoogled Chromium, Epic, Iridium and Dissenter. Just do a bit of research on which one you’re choosing before downloading, since with smaller projects they can have their own security issues or even be outright malicious themselves as seen with Citrio or Torch.

Otherwise your best bet is to go with a Firefox-based browser, be it the original or one of the recent regularly-maintained forks such as Waterfox, Pale Moon or Basilisk. As always just be aware of what you’re installing before you choose and make sure that you aren’t using an older, possibly compromised fork (i.e. I can’t recommend Comodo IceDragon despite the core browser being quite good because it hasn’t had an update in nearly two years).
