Lucifer began Vox Populi in a similar way to Hell's Greatest Dad, he sang in a goofy, show off manner, not intending really to threaten Alastor but more to show everyone who's boss. Even then in Vox Populi, his part was still more serious and an attempt to be threatening. When Alastor interrupted him, he immediately just throws himself harder into the musical battle rather than taking it personally. Whereas in Vox Populi, the second Vox started attacking him Lucifer lost it. He even tried to actually kill him. He didn't call him any petty names. (mouthy little mortal was from a place of genuine anger rather than frustration or irritation) He couldn't keep up his prideful attitude or keep his cool. (he kind of lost it in hell's greatest dad but not really the way he lost it in Vox Populi)

the difference between these 2 scenes highlights the most important parts of Lucifer's character, he isn't as invulnerable as he once seemed. Charlie was the only weakness Al had to exploit but even in doing so he diddn't get a truly angry King of Hell. Vox realized the truth about everything when it came to Lucifer, what heaven did, what happened with Lilith. Vox pointed out Lucifer's biggest regrets and insecurities in a way that Al didn't.

Really interesting for Alastor, a guy that claims to understand and know how to manipulate people so well, he didn't actually manipulate Lucifer into his trap, and never actually learned what truly makes him tick.

Vox however figured it out. Vox is able to figure out people in a way Alastor can't, while simultaneously not figuring out Al himself. Whereas it seems like the only person that Al was able to manipulate into his trap is Vox. (Charlie if but honestly I wouldn't really consider his deal with her manipulation bc she knew he was up to something she just figured it wouldn't be that bad)

I get the feeling that Vaggi and Lilith will not get along in the beginning because of their past actions and their different views on what’s best for Charlie. But I know one thing they might have in common!

I’m sure Lilith will eventually find respect and trust for Vaggi, despite her being a former exorcist. As well as understanding that the choices that they’ve made were against their will. Hopefully their relationship as MIL and DIL is not fast paced, I want them to take their time and get used to one another. At least for two seasons, and then eventually working together, having a cool fight scene against Lute in the final season.

Ranking Lucifer's Most Popular Ships (no rare pairs)

some of these aren't that popular but this list was a lot harder to come up with than Alastor's bc ppl ship Alastor with anyone that moves unlike Lucifer. So I just took the ones I've seen some content for.

Lucilith- duh, they have the potential to be the best written dynamic in this show maybe surpassing radiostatic

StaticApple- Vox Populi was the best scene in the show and it highlighted the most conflicting and complex parts of Lucifer's character. Its interesting contrasting who Lucifer is when he's with Vox vs when he's dumbed down to make petty beef with Alastor

Adam's Apple- duh, I'm sorry they are such a funny duo, we were robbed of more interactions I fear. They would've been the funniest one night stand.

Lucifer x Eve- considering we don't know who Eve is yet I don't have a lot to say about them. Some ppl argue that he referred to sleeping with eve in that double entendre he made about the Apple but I'm such a huge Lucilith shipper that I really don't want it to be true. The idea of her hating him tho is peak

Radioapple- Believe it or not I don't hate the ship, I just think both Lucifer and Alastor have more chemistry with Vox lmao. Vox brings out the most contrasting parts of their characters and when they're with each other they turn into middle schoolers. I find their interactions hilarious but nothing more than that.

Then Kuvira morphs into Korra in the avatar state for her and that's what throws her off her game. She loses to herself.

That's why I say the main "opponent" in book 4 for Korra isn't Kuvira, it's herself. Her fear. That's what she needs to overcome and does. When she believes in herself she's powerful enough to stop a nuclear weapon.

How I felt about Hazbin ships before s2 vs after

Radioapple- Before: Casual fan, enjoyed their bickering nothing more After: Still find their s1 interactions funny af but s2 interactions bored me, don't find them extremely complex

Chaggie- Before: Loved them down, really interested in their story being explored further and doing more with Vaggi tying her self worth to Charlie After: I don't really see potential in that storyline anymore and because of it I've lost interest. Happy to see Vaggi has self worth outside of Charlie but idk where their story will go from here. Still love them down tho. hopefully can regain my interest in s3

Radiostatic Before- ong I was their biggest hater, I couldn't stand Vox and any mention of him pissed me off. I also didn't really watch their s1 scenes so it came off totally on-sided desperation which never interested me After- they changed my life. rewatched the whole show and from the very start it was never as one-sided as I was once convinced.
