He was on the podium of all but 3 races he finished (ignoring DNFs/DSQs), and in two of those three, he was in 4th

He won 7 races. He won two sprints. He took pole 7 times. He got second place 8 times. He took third place 3 times.

He overcame a mechanical DNF, a DSQ, and a sprint DNF.

He overcame dealing with a car that was completely opposed to his natural driving style.

He had to finish the final race of the season on the podium.

And he did it.
