Long story short. Im not asking for money or anything just help.

I have a freind in Missuri who may be pregnant. She cannot tell her mother because if she does shes at risk of physical abuse. Shes 17, neurodivergant and disabled, she cannot physically or mentally be ready for motherhood. 

We are struggling to find her a way to safely get the help she needs, she has already had plan B but she was ovulating when contraption may have happened therefore we dont think it has worked.

It’d mean a LOT to me if you shared this after reading.

I’m sure you’ve heard about this movie already.

If not though, it’s a movie set to come out in 2017, directed by M. Night Shyamalan. Who, as mentioned, also incredibly messed up the Avatar the Last Airbender movie. ‘Split’ supposedly depicts a man with dissociative identity disorder (DID).

However, just from the trailer this movie already displays the fact that those involved with the production have no knowledge of what DID actually is.

#boycottsplit is a tag those within the DID community are starting, as this movie does nothing except escalates the misinformation about DID, and completely demonizes this serious mental illness.

1. Think through an exit or escape plan in advance. This will help to give you a sense of control.

2. Make sure there is someone you can text or talk to – so you feel supported, not abandoned and alone.

3. If possible, try to bend forwards, as this often helps relieve anxiety.

4. Keep some tranquilizers in your pocket or your purse. Just knowing they are there can often calm you down.

5. Try to get some air so you can breathe freely again. Often it is best if you can walk around outside.

Abuse is a very serious issue. If you are or have been abused, you deserve better. No matter what your abuser says, no matter what anyone says, you deserve better. You deserve love, respect, kindness, safety, help and support. Resources:

They go on runs to protect the child if they feel even the slightest threatened no matter where. If the child needs them to go on vacation with them, they do. Bikers come from across the nation to watch over and take shifts for these kids. And the best part is once you’re adopted into this family as a BACA kid, you’re always one. Even when you’re 40 and the perp gets released from jail, they’ll come meet with you and find your best options for avoiding the person and maintaining the life you’ve built for yourself. Once a BACA child, always a BACA child. In Florida, there’s 100% rate for identifying the perp based on the child’s testimony. Why? Because BACA stands with the child and supports the child so they feel comfortable enough to point out their attacker.
