“Of course the future is scary.” A voice came from his mind. A voice of reason, which the crying boy has never heard before. The boy's tears turn into a figure. A familiar one.

“We don't know what will happen, but we'll have each other.” The figure states, wiping away the boy's streaming tears. The sniffling boy tries to hug the figure, but it dissipates into the air.

what if,

what if no one really cares.

what if they all see me as a fool, and they all want me to be quiet.

what if no one wants to hear my ideas?

no one wants to hear my poems or my stories or even my voice.

what if everyone is acting to like me?

what if they all find me annoying or boring or outright stupid.

maybe i am.

what if, what if, what if, What If.

and i start to spiral,

but then the term loses meaning after a while.

im simply just here, just living in this life.

but what if, all those what if’s are universes, realities, that im not conscious in?

now thats a bigger thought.

and i dont have time for this,

to sit and think and think and think.

yet i do it anyways.
