I very much understand why people didn't like it, and as a story and an art piece I think it leaves a WHOLE LOT to be desired. It definitely plays more like a badly done COD game at times than a Resident Evil game. That being said, I played it with a friend and we spent the entire game laughing about how ridiculous the game is; if you're going to play it (or if you already did, and had a terrible time by yourself) I highly suggest playing it with a good friend, it makes all the difference

I actually love Sheva so much. She skyrocketed up my favorite RE character list SO fast, and while I understand why Capcom will probably never use her again, I would LOVE a more modern (and hopefully more culturally-accurate, lol) take on a Resident Evil game set in Africa. I would love a Leon-esque game with an older, slightly more jaded Sheva, still protecting Africa from terrorists and people trying to take advantage of her people.

That laser puzzle is SO funny and badly done WHY would you make the lasers incredibly finicky AND they kill you (and your partner) IN ONE HIT that is so funny. What were they thinking there genuinely.

The difficulty range on this game is soooo wild. There were bosses that felt extremely trivialized if we were even slightly prepared for them. One of the bosses was glitched and couldn't die at all, until we adjusted the fps and turned off v-sync, upon which it died instantaneously without us even having to shoot it once. The rooms where we got stuck with a wave of zombies (and slightly stronger zombies and/or bugs) felt like someone cranked up the difficulty from normal to hard and those are the only times either of us died (aside from that final Wesker fight, because the hit-box of that stupid 'flinging your character into an active volcano' attack is near-unavoidable).
