I decided to read flowers for 1970 even though I know I'm very emotional. WORST. MISTAKE. EVER. If you're sentimental like me, PLEASE DON'T READ IT I'M BEGGING YOU. IT DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU ARE CURIOUS. DON'T READ IT. I was straight up sobbing when I finished reading it, and now every time I see orchids or listen to unchained melody I start crying. I was walking on my way to calculus with my headphones on and unchained melody came up. I had to run to the restroom and dry my eyes before I ended up ruining my make up. Take it from an 18 year old dude, DON'T READ IT IF YOU'RE EMOTIONAL, IT'S GOING TO CRUSH YOUR SOUL AND MAKE YOU CRY FOR FICTIONAL CHARACTERS.
If you DO end up reading it though and need emotional support and someone to fangirl about the story with, my dm's are open because even though this story crushed me, it's still really good and I want to discuss it with someone that likes it as much as me.

I think Enola Holmes will be someone a lot of teenage girls will look up to. I'm glad we have a character who is themselves despite what everyone says. She only tries to fit in when she's in a disguise. She never tried to fit in. She's clever. She knows what she's made for. She's still finding her place.
People are gonna judge you no matter what. Then why be someone else. Be yourself as long as you're not being rude and mean. Or hurting people. And it's alright to do things at your own pace.
Maybe guys would would follow Tewksbury too. There's no definition of manly. There's no shame in doing something other boys don't.
