This is an old fic for an old pairing that I scrapped and then almost completely rewrote and have been working on for several months lmfao. I normally end up just writing for vibes. I do a mix of writing and drawing and so my recent writing has just been enough to capture a vibe or a scene that I want to draw.

Before I drew any spice I used to write it all. I used to write sooooooo much spice. I was on Wattpad in 2014 writing lemons. I am realizing now I have over a decades worth of experience writing porn wow. I'm so accomplished.

This started as. Just a little "haha what if he laid eggs?" but I kept getting distracted with all the other angles that keep getting brought into it and now it's turned into a genuine character study and exploration piece???????? All because I wanted to think abt egg laying fae. This is horrible. Where's that post about "my porn turned into an angst filled character study"? Bc that's whATS HAPPENING TO ME AGAIN ITS OVER TWO AND A HALF THOUSAND WORDS AND ITS NOT EVEN THE PART I WANT TO ACTUALLY WRITE!!!!!!!

ANYWAYS!!! I am personally feeling very fascinated by the concept and how changing how he theoretically reproduces would do as far as his feelings towards parenthood and whatever. Like. Idk. I think it's very interesting. The visual physical reminder in the form of a dud egg as a child he didn't have. As a man who wanted no children. Like. Idk. There's something abt that I KNOW would fuck with me and I think it would be fun to think abt it for him.

God the idea of Lilia being much more Creature than he truly lets on…. Ugh I love the idea of the Lilia we see being at least a slightly disguised form. I guess that theory is out bc we saw him completely without magic but :(( u know what I'm just gonna do what i want anyways. Canon doesn't own me. That's one of the biggest kind of points towards this whole thing.

I never really had an interest in oviposition befode and its not something ive read a lot of either(maybe like. Four fics) but I started thinking about it in a way that was like “alright, I don't think I'm into this but there is an aspect of it that kind of interests me, so let's try and figure out what it would take for me to be into it.” And the answer was like. Emotional turmoil for Lilia and then very cuddly egg laying.

It also offers an alternative for a breeding kink that I do not mind. Idk, the thought of pregnancy and childbirth just always grossed me out and terrified me personally(absolutely NO shade to anyone that wants it tho. It's just really really not for me). But. Hmm. Yeah some of the alternatives are kinda fun to think about. Probably because it's completely impossible still, but also just because. Yeah.

Sooooooo there's that. Also. Which I understand is probably a little. Weird. It's quite an extreme take but. I like it. I think it's interesting.

In my heart I am thinking far too much into it and finding it symbolic of his own perceived dislike of children versus what we see of him in reality. He says he doesn't like children and he's quite gruff about it, but we also know he really genuinely cares. He says one thing but his actions are another. The idea of him reconsuming an egg instead of destroying it is!!!! Part of that!!!!!

It's probably a little bit of a taboo act, something done by the desperate and prideless, seen as a disrespectful act to your family or something idk. Bit it's one more way Lilia fails, it's one more dirty thing he does. I don't think it would be something he really tells anyone about, but I think he would just know and have internalized that.

Again. Like I genuinely think it's fascinating. I think it's a very interesting take and I think it would be. So so much fun to explore(which is why I'm doing it I guess?)

Because I think that's fun.

Like. He's waiting for Maleanors' approval before HE can do anything(not a real rule, but something he's personally decided on), but Lilia :))) Lilia wouldn't it be fun? Wouldn't it be so fun? Isn't it already so fun to tease??? And you know how Fiend looks at you :)))) come on, it'll be fun :)))) and Fiend just go for itttttt it'll be fine :))) I know you can't tell but I can and I think you should just try to seduce him a little :))))

God I have been loving Maleanor since I first saw her forever ago, but I was trying to hold back like. Fiend, don't be greedy, you can't selfship with more than one character from a thing!!!!!! Because. That's a rule I made up for myself apparently. Even though my verryyyyyyy first f/os were(oh god this is slightly embarrassing to admit)Norway and Romano from Hetalia. But it was all very separate in my head and they never really interacted or were important to each other. But with Lilia and Maleanor it's. All very. Connected. Technically you COULD just date one of them but why tf would I? And I get a free Husband. They're a buy two get one free deal and I love it. And I get to do basically whatever I want with Raverne because he's only mentioned a handful of times in canon. So. Yippee. And I loveeee him too he's so cute in my head. It is genuinely so healing to be like. Hmm. Yes. All of these characters are in love with each other but also ME! It makes me so !!!! >///< ♡♡♡♡ hehehe!!!!!!
