This is Abyss Gunslinger, a free game inspired by asteriods. Made mostly as a learning experience over a year ago (Using Game Maker Studio 1)

How many eldritch souls can you gather in your stroll in the Abyss, before losing your humanity? 

I feel he doesn’t quite get the recognition he deserves at all times. Most seem bothered that a lot of the maps he made for Doom and Doom 2 are a bit too abstract for some people’s tastes, some being outright ugly (he was big on the idea of uncanny and alien architecture), but he was great at staging encounters and setting you up for ambushes and traps. People often forget that he made some of the most fondly remembered maps, in the same breath talking up maps that he had a big hand in putting together.
