Imagine your f/o has never seen the sea. Imagine bringing them to the pier on a cold, grey afternoon, the sea air chapping your lips and hands; imagine seeing them lean over the edge, mesmerized by the thunderous crashing of the waves, those sullen blue colours washing over the stones metres below. Imagine looking at their winter-nipped skin, their red tipped ears and nose, their hair pushed about by the wind. Imagine how lucky you'd feel to be the one to show them this.

I absolutely love ships where one character is usually serious and distant, but when they talk to that one person, their voice turns soft and gentle and is suddenly filled with fondness that they don’t show to anyone else.

Imagine holding hands with your F/O(s) and they suddenly bring your hand up to kiss your knuckles. It's sickeningly cute.
