I watched this episode for the first time today, and I’ve been crying the whole day.

My friend spoiled me from the very beginning about what would happen to them, but even knowing what was coming didn’t make it any easier. I was prepared and it still broke my heart.

I loved the show, it’s truly amazing. And while it would be unfair to say I cared about only these two… Jaime and Brienne were just something else. Their scenes, the respect, the slowburn, it was perfect. They loved each other since season 3, even if they never said it. That kiss in this episode felt like the culmination of everything, only for it to be ruined moments later.

I know I’m way late, and I’m so sorry to everyone who lived through this in real time, but… they really deserved better.

Even though I was told Jaime would leave, I still didn’t believe it. I kept hoping he wouldn’t go, even though I knew he would.

And I do believe he loved Brienne. No one can convince me otherwise. The way he looked at her, those were the eyes of a man in love.
