After the hell that was Muramasa and Caster of Limbo, I had only one other must-have target, even more sought after than those two: Taigong Wang. ...He's cute ok. And I've developed a weak spot for fox-eyed characters over the past few years, so I just must have him! ..........................But GudaGuda came along and I just had to get Ryoma and Oryou. Not only did I like them as characters, but they're an AOE lancer arts farmer!

While they may not have taken ALL of my SQs... I went from 300+ to 100+, and all my tickets so... I was running low on reserves for Taigong Wang. And then there came that Skadi banner from Christmas. I've been trying to get her since her release, but she had continued to evade me, and... this time wasn't any different. Even worse, she ended up eating up some of my Taigong Wang funds ORZ. Then Tunguska came along. No Taigong. I farmed all of my remaining interludes and rank up quests. No Taigong. I used my resources to level Servants to do EVEN MORE interludes and rank up quests. STILL NO TAIGONG. And then, the raids came along... and I decided to farm bond points for EVEN MORE SQs. I must have had 300+ battles which lasted until the final moments of the raid. I was ready to give up once the raid ends... So, I thought, hey, I'll try to get 15 more SQs- that's literally the last I can afford. The other Servants' bond exps are too high for what remaining HP the Beast had. Part of me wanted to settle for 13 SQs- I wasn't sure if the last Servant would make it anyway... but I decided to persevere. So, I ended up with 15 SQs. First pull. Nada. Kept going until I had 3 SQs remaining... And then, no lag- but GOLDEN RIDER?! I was skeptical because I've gotten 3 baits before this: Marie Antoinette, and 2 times for Nikitich. BUT THEN. FINALLY. HE CAME. HE FINALLY CAME.

...And I proceeded to throw all my resources at him.

So... I've saved up my SQs for Muramasa and Douman, both of which sucked me dry. -Actually, neither of them came home from SQs I DID SAVE UP but from SQs I had to forcefully farm from interludes and rank up quests. For that? I had to feed my servants with my exp savings just so they meet the conditions for interludes+rank ups, not to mention, I had to farm bond levels for even more SQs. That said, they did come home... at a huge (F2P) price. Now, I'm saving for Oberon but he's on a lower priority- So, with Chaldea Boys here, I was just thinking- "Man, the CEs are pretty, I'll just pull for them". Anyway, I said I'll only use my tickets, but decided to use up 10, plus one ten-pull hoping to get the 5-star CEs...

AND THIS GUY DECIDED TO COME HOME-

I MEAN SURE! Amakusa isn't on my high priority list, but given that he just got a new skin? He's definitely a welcome addition to the team! Anyway, since I got him and I was still lacking some CEs, I figured I'd wait for Odysseus' banner since I've gotten pretty attached to the guy after the Aeaea event. Heck, he's my favorite Servant right now- favorite mythological hero, even. I did end up getting all the CEs I wanted, but... while I did tell myself that I'll only use my tickets... I ended up using my SQ stash. -Not that I had a lot to begin with; I think I only had like... 160+ SQs anyway?

And now, I only have 60 SQs left ahaha... But with this 5-star CE, I managed to grab the final one from the event shop, which means I've collected them all! The real kicker? Well, let's go back to last year when Odysseus released... it took me more than 300+ of my SQs to force him home. For this banner, copies of him actually did come home.

...Not once, not twice... BUT THRICE.

So, yeah. Now I have an NP4 Odysseus. From less than 200 SQs worth of pulls??? SOMEHOW??? Maybe all my nerding about The Odyssey these past few months served as his catalyst ahahahaha...

Today was quite fun! I loved how Odysseus someone proved himself to be a great strategist. So, when I first surveyed the map, I was like... “Oh damn. How do I deal with this???”, I mean, they have freakin’ Karna and I wasn’t allowed to use saber. I don’t have any assassins appropriate for this round, so I decided to not bring along one and just compensate with CEs. I originally wanted to bring a support caster for Odysseus, but he sad nah (I ran out of servant limit for a 5-star support), so I ended up picking Servants who are best suited for defensive maneuvers. Emiya was picked for Archer cause he has evade... and for rider, I had way too many choices: Ozy, Achilles and Odysseus. I ended up picking Odysseus cause I knew that he was a good defensive servant, and surviving was what I needed most... I thought. Honestly, I was just hoping for Emiya to defend Gudako from MHX and Karna, while she runs away with her bodyguard, CasCu. Thankfully, Karna and his assassin friend kept refusing to attack! I guess it was due to their personality? That said, Odysseus saw an opportunity- most of the Servants guarding the opponent master were casters, so he’d be at an advantage despite the number disadvantage. On the way, he encountered Merlin and chipped off one life from the guy. Karna and MHX kept being wishywashy while Emiya kept on guard.  Odysseus then left Merlin and continued onward against D’eon. Due to the saber typing, it wasn’t as easy, but Odysseus pulled through. It was here that the opponent master began his escape attempt. Sanzang kept guard and attacked Odysseus, but thanks to his rider typing, he managed to take her down fast. Odysseus kept chasing the master while Shakespeare tailed from behind. They clashed a bit, but Odysseus once again prevailed and took down one life from the playwright. 

The chase continued... until he was cornered all the way to Gudako’s territory. And then, it was checkmate.

I’ve been pulling here and there whenever Scáthach gets a rate up cause I wanted to re-unite her with Cu. Always failed to pull though... until now.

And she came from a freakin’ ticket pull.

Granted, I’ve done at least one ten pull prior already? Just been splurging a bit of extra tickets and SQs here and there. SO ANYWAY. I asked my brother to press the button for a ticket pull, but he kept refusing to do it cause he wanted to do a 10-pull... but I’m saving my SQs for Limbo, so I was like, “FINE. I’LL DO IT”- and then I pressed the single pull. GOLDEN SPARKS. LANCER??? BOOM.

I haven’t started on the story event itself (cause my phone still be charging XD) but I’ve done my rolls. Thanks to my early Castoria roll, I can splurge a bit! So I figured I’d roll on the male banner cause of that Odysseus CE... YEAH. THAT’S RIGHT. I’M ROLLING FOR A FUCKING CE. So yeah. I had 500+ SQs... and ended with 270. 30 tickets and ended with 10. I... overspent.  What did I get though? NP4 Lanling (who I’ve recently leveled up- was NP1 before this.)

FREAKIN NP2 SIGURD. I mean... I didn’t want WANT one... but getting one was nice???

And yes, I got 2 freakin’ SSRs before the damn CE.

I MEAN HE’S SO FINE OK. And then I figured... hey, I still have 10 tix let’s splurge it on the female banner cause I kinda want Summer Bryn for the Bryn x Sigurd ship. 10 tickets later, I decided to do 2 last SQ pulls cause I had 276 SQs- just so I’d end with 270 SQs. And then she dropped in.

Y’all should know how the first few hours after anniv maintenance was so busy that people couldn’t get in, right? So, I wasn’t planning on rolling right away since my birthday was literally in a few hours (midnight) so I figured, why not roll for her on the eve of my bday? Come midnight, I started up FGO (having collected all tickets, gifts and SQs some hours earlier) to finally make my summon.

Started out with 517 SQs and 35 summon tickets. I wasn’t really aware of the SQ fragments coming, so I was actually planning to go into this with like... 300+ SQs, so that was a pleasant surprise. So of course, I started out with one summon ticket.  GOLD CARD APPEARS. 

.................. And it’s a lancer. I mean... I already have her at NP5, so rare prism get? But also, I guess it’s a good omen? I mean... gold card right at the start is good, right? So I keep pulling until I decided to finally do some 10 pulls. And then another gold- .............. Nezha.

At least it’s my first copy. I do a few more 10 and then get another Nezha along the way. 90 SQs and 15 tix down. Still not bad. I mean, Odysseus took 300+ and back in the days, threw 300+ for Ozy who didn’t come home. It’s still early and I’ve still got 300+ SQs and 20 tix. Threw in another 30 SQs....................

AND THEN SHE CAME HOME.

Honestly, it was quite anticlimactic since she came without sparks. BUT HEY. She came in with just 15 tix and 120 SQs, which is not bad!

Best of all, I get to have her birthday greeting ASAP <3
