“Who knows? You could be full of surprises but I guess not. I’m obviously never that lucky. And what direction would that be?”

“so shooting an arrow at someone isn’t physical? and yeah, i aimed for them. it wasn’t an arrow designed to wound or anything, but whoever it was, they were making light flash in my eye and it was annoying. i think some aphrodite chick with a mirror or something. she came up to me, but i can’t say i particularly paid attention. she ruined my shot.”

“No, it’s like...airborne, rather than getting down n’ dirty on the ground, shirts being ripped and bruises everywhere, so no, I don’t think it counts as physical. What was it designed to do? Would you like to play some real good old revenge on her? I mean, there’s only a handful of Aphrodite girls, I’m sure it won’t matter if we ruin all of them.”

“well let me see… i shot an arrow at someone yesterday. whoever it was, they took offence, but i can’t say i’m sure who it was. if you’re looking for the sort of ‘ooh this susie kissed brett’ shit, i’m afraid i will not be of much help.’

“Is that seriously it? Do you think they’d miss their stuff if we, I don’t know, burn it? Finn Fun sounds like a tongue twister to be honest, but congrats on the name. Shame you never live up to it though.”

“well what do you want me to tell you? that i’m in love with you and then we fall in love or do you want me to just be your bestest friend? what ever it is, feel free to voice it because i’m always happy to oblige to whatever you want.’

“We wouldn’t fall in love, no, but feel free to fall in love with me yourself. I want you to give me some freakin’ gossip about anything or anyone, because if you can then I may actually consider the bestest friend thing.”

Kendoll looked up from her freshly painted manicures, examining to ensure there were no flaws, when she felt the tail end of a freshly cut strand of hair whip at her face. “Excuse you. You’re in my way.” Kendoll narrowed her eyes in on the girls features. She couldn’t remember if she’d ever met her before, maybe she had threatened her before, but she really couldn’t remember.

“Oh, please,” Morgan scoffed, with a roll of her eyes soon following. “I know how to use my eyes, unlike you--did you even look at yourself before you left your cabin this morning?” She couldn’t help but think this girl needed professional help. there was no way in hell that it was Morgan’s fault. 

“I didn’t- I’m sorry- I mean- No, just- Stop- No- I mean-” he starts to back away slowly, his arms pinned to his sides. “I’m sorry, no, I mean I just meant, sorry, sorry. Fuck I’m sorry-” His eyes begin to glaze over.

“Hey it’s okay, we’ll finish off there and try again tomorrow.” She toned it down a touch, not wanting him to break down on her, and it certainly seemed as though he was about to. “It’s fine.”

“N-no, I’m not going to punch you- I mean- Sorry, I didn’t- I mean- I didn’t mean to- Just- I mean. Sorry. Fuck. Fuck. Sorry.”

“Oh, boring.” Morgan sighed, she thought she was getting somewhere with him. “Why are you apologi--You’re going backwards.”

“I’ll certainly be using that for future reference. Hm, you think so? I know this might come across as a shocker to you, but I really don’t care. Besides, that can easily be fixed with a trip to Bali or Bora Bora. You’re more than welcome to join me if you’d like. I’m surprisingly good at lathering on sunscreen. Didn’t you know? Your insults are what keep me going, so please, keep them coming. You did when you said I needed to do some squats. Seeing it up close might change your mind though.” 

“Oh, don’t bother--it won’t be of any relevant use to you. I do. It’s not really much of a shocker, unfortunately. I’m more of a Mauritius or Maldives gal, so I’ll have to pass this time. That doesn’t sound disgusting at all. I could go without insulting you, if you could go an hour without embarrassing yourself. Hey, you do need to do some squats, you’ve got a long way to go still before you’re ready to be appreciated.”

Gabe paused, remembering the last time someone asked him that. “Um. W-what did you- I mean- When- Just- Like- I mean. Um.” His hands started shaking and he gripped them into fists.

“Woah,” she glanced down at his fists. “Maybe punching me in the face is a bit excessive. Look, you seem like a fairly nice guy and I mean, why would you let me push you around? Don’t you want to be happy?”

“F-fuck off,” he says, but it’s a question. “N-no, I mean, of course, I mean, you were being, I mean, you were being awful, I just meant, like, I guess. Why would I bother getting, um, upset.”

“Now, once more with more meaning?” She asked, to see if he was able. “Because otherwise you’re allowing me to walk all over you--you don’t want to be a push over because if you let me push you around then I’m going to keep doing it all the time. You don’t want to be my bitch, right?”

“Oh, so you’d say fast and sporadic is more your thing? That’s good to know. Really good to know. Don’t worry, your hip enlargement is right there in second place. What can I say? I’ve never been one to follow the rules. That’s still not going to stop me from looking at it though. Please tell me it was the most expensive one you could find, I mean, we all know that’s what I deserve. I already do my squats. You’d know that if you looked at my ass more often.”

“Mhm, definitely sounds like more my thing. I’m glad you think so. Aw, but your pale complexion would totally clash with gold--you’re more of a silver person, I can tell. Such a bad boy. I can only dream of that luxury. I think you deserve to be six foot under, I don’t care what you look like down there so unfortunately it’s probably going to insult you, which is always my intention. Who says I don’t?”

“B-but. Why would I-  I mean- I just, like, why would I want to…”

“Because why should I get to scream at you for something you didn’t mean to do? You don’t deserve that, for all you know it was me who bumped into you--so stand up for yourself and tell me to fuck off.”

“Oh no, I have more, but I wanna save it for another occasion. Tiny doses is where it’s at. Don’t get me wrong though, I’m kind of into the whole hip enlargement thing. You finally have an ass I can look at. It’s like my Christmas miracle finally came true. Don’t bother, you should use that energy on something more productive. Some squats, perhaps?” 

“Slow and steady does not win the race, Seb, we’ve been over this. Well, I’m not really digging this whole head enlargement thing you and your ego have going on but we can’t all win. I’ve always had an ass and you’ve never been allowed to look at it. I’m waiting for mine to come true, I’ve picked out your tombstone already. How about you do some squats?”
