“Potions take time, Felix. As in, a couple of hours, maybe.”

“I’m still worried, but we’re still making this potion.”

“Fine, but I swear, the moment something tries to kill us that you made, I’m banning you from my potions.”

“now now, i’d never let anything try to kill you.” felix winks cheekily, “have a little faith.”

“I still don’t trust you with my ingredients. I could make it for you and not worry about you poisoning yourself.”

“where’s the fun in that? plus, better teach me now so i don’t have to bug you later. teach a man to fish or whatever. plus, i’m a son of apollo, that’s gotta count for something potion wise.”

“As your friend, I can guarantee that teaching you to make potions will probably get us all killed.”

“well, as your friend, i can guarantee that i totally know what i’m doing. plus, what harm could a little stealth potion do? i have payback that needs doing. not to you, don’t worry.”

“can’t say i’ve heard that before but i definitely agree with it! plus can’t make it to the end of survivor without a solid final three in my opinion. me neither but, i could find joy in an open audition for our third member, plus just the opportunity to meet others with the same interest of joining a band of joke-esque instruments sounds like a great way to make new friends.”

“you know, i’ve never seen survivor. sounds good, then we could like, strike up a tune every time someone either slips on a banana peel or when someone gets broken up with. lighten the mood a bit, y’know?”

“it’s a good one, you’re not wrong, a very good classic. a bad of say, comedic instruments sounds like a band thats right up my alley, all we need now is for someone to do a good rim shot for when maybe our jokes don’t land so it’s like, hey, we burn ourselves too. i mean, i play a mean drum but, i feel solid in a trio.”

“mm, you’re right. One man may be deceit, two can be conspiracy. three is the number I trust, and all that. can’t think of anyone off the top of my head though.”

“It is iconic, very iconic. Okay, fine, maybe top spot was pushing it just a little too hard, but it’s very good. I don’t know, though, she finds happiness in her studying and she helps the nail technician lady and she’s just happy she ends up getting a law degree and graduating at the top of her class, which she managed to do without a man. Though, yeah, I get you on the Three Musketeers.”

“don’t get me wrong, it’s awesome what she does. it’s just like, she and paula still both end up with guys at the end. why can’t movies just,, have people be friends? 

“Legally Blonde is the best damn film of all time and you can’t even fight me on this, because I will win–I will destroy you and win. Now tell me you agree or I’ll make you watch it a thousand times until you do.” 

“look, i’ll accept it as an iconic and wonderful film, but it just can’t take the top spot. i mean, it still has the whole idea of the girl needing to find love to be happy. i’m more of a three musketeers person.”

“yeah, i know i’m no son of apollo but, i’m quite the musician, i play a fine, slide whistle, like when you hear it you just know, someone slipped on a banana peel. so, you know, you’re welcome.”

“honestly, i’m more a fan of a sad violin bit after someone slips on a banana peel. maybe we could make a band.”

“Gum is fine with me, I’m a fan of it.”

“okay, some gum on the box fitting in thing then. just a question, why are you climbing into a box? what is the purpose of it?”

“You can definitely bet on that, but let’s bet with food or something, because I don’t want to lose money.”

“i mean, sure but all i’ve got on me at the moment is... a lighter and some gum. and i like this lighter, so how do you feel about gum?”

“Hmm, sounds great. I’m rather sneaky though, so let’s hope I can get away. You been here long?”

“sneakiness doesn’t hide the fact that you smell like tasty, tasty demigod. and yeah, two years. felix, son of apollo.”

“can’t say i’m in awe yet but i’m sure your tour will wow me enough.”

“you’re not in awe of this physical, and mental i might add, perfection? anyway, this is camp half blood. shrouded from mortals and monsters, mostly anyway, it’s the safest place for kids like you and me.”
