Likewise,her consistent,constant and instictive shielding(pun intended)of her problems and issues and strifes makes her even deeper now that she's a black teenage girl as does her runaway status,her found family dynamic with Annabeth and Luke's exploitation of her legacy and his past connection to her and of course,her being a punk since punk subculture was created,crafted and defined primarily by black people and her blackness helps eliminate the idea goth=pasty and white too
