Imagine if you locked Light and Patrick Bateman in a room together. They would be having the most generic conversation but you wouldn’t be able to hear it over the sound of their overlapping internal monologues. There would be a few seconds where their monologues both play in sync to say something misogynistic.

sometimes i go so insane thinking about how the stories we hear as children and the stories we tell our children are sometimes the difference between who we could become and who we couldve been and then whenpeople say that stories and fiction dont matter i wanna beat them like a chimpanzee. like its not that 'fiction doesnt matter' in th sense that you can consume whatever you want forever and it wont effect you but its also like you have to be very mindful of the things you tell and the stories you write because they DO. EFFECT PEOPLE. a storyteller is a very powerful role to fill you have to be aware of what you can do both in positive and negative impact

the bible is a story. regardless of whether or not you believe its contents it is a relaying of information in a story format. centuries of peoples lives have been either lost or controlled because of a fucking story. if you dont understand the importance of stories and communicating them as a human being you have failed to understand what a human being is to begin with. we are story telling animals. the information we share with eachother is often in the form of stories. you have to listen to me boy if you think the things you write and share and speak to others dont effect them and dont effect you you have FAILED. to understand the human psyche. you cannot possibly understand the effects a story can have by dismissing it as 'i know the difference between reality and fiction' BUT DO YOU KNOW THE EFFECT FICTION HAS ON YOU. DO YOU! *rattling the bars to my cage*

Homura is just straight up one of the weirdest people imaginable. Like, forget about the time loop tragic doomed romance for a bit, I want to see what it looks like if she wins and then actually tries to romance Madoka. She has a massive collection of illegal firearms. She builds her own bombs. She lives in an ultra-modernist white box apartment that she's decorated with a couch made of concentric circles, a giant swinging knife pendulum to remind her of the ever-present flow of time, and a wall of several dozen screens. She communicates primarily in vague and ominous warnings and is more or less incapable of saying anything directly. She addresses everyone she meets by their full name with no honorific which comes across as bizarre and intimidating. If you count time loop years she's 26. She was raised in a catholic orphanage. I want to see her take Madoka on a horrifically bad date and cry in the bathroom partway through when she realizes she's fucking up
