Meat. Raw. It's part of my diet and hunting out here you tend to get alot of it.

He is misery. He's full of misery. He is nothing but misery. I try to end the misery but he never succumbs. However this helps alot with my research. I can keep cutting him open and seeing what's inside.

The foxkin rushed through the forest, his footsteps heavy as he ran through the underbrush, not caring if he made a sound. Something was... Different. He was looking for.. something.
Something that was no longer there as he ventured deeper into the woods. His eyes scanned the empty space, as if expecting something, or someone there. However, with how dead the grass, trees, and other foliage looked? Something was there.
One of Mason’s traps trigger causing more of a ruckus. The man hears this and his curiosity takes the best of him. He walks in the woods following the broken twigs.. making a path in his head
The foxkin huffed as he looked at the scene before him as he began to move forward, not paying mind to his surroundings. Where did it go? It was literally right-
Within moments, the foxkin was hoisted up into the air, dangling upsidedown by his ankle. He quickly scrambled for his bearings, quickly finding a wire wrapped tightly around his ankle. He cursed under his breath, a frustrated sigh escaping his lips. He stepped into one of Mason's snares... Again.
He began patting his pockets, looking for... Something. He quickly found that something laying on the forest floor beneath him . His pink-handled knife.
"Fuck...!"
He hissed out before trying to grab it. He just- he just had to reach it. The more he tried, and failed, the more frustrated he got. Soon enough, those years of frustration began to poop in his eyes.
"Why can't I-"

An attachment was sent soon after. The image shown was... A painting. One that was in the past of a certain someone. And- what was that on it? It didn't look like paint...
Eric stares down at the attachment, a bead of sweat rolling over his brow. These paintings in particular? They were NOT meant to be found by ANYONE besides Eric, Ian, or maybe Mason. The dubious stains on the canvas bring the cowkin immense shame...

More paintings began to send like rapid fire, filling up the messages. Almost every painting he did of the foxkin was shown. Any and all it could find. Some of the photos were close up of the dubious stains on the canvas. Just to bring the cowkin more shame.

After a minute, the messages stopped. It seemed like it gotten tired. Or did it..? After a minute of silence, a voice was heard, silently echoing throughout the room.
If it was so private, why didn't you take them? Anyone could've broke into your old home and seen them. What if... What if a certain fox seen? I'm sure he hasn't seen the "well loved" ones, hm?
Would he be disgusted by you? Would he leave you?
Eric only looks at the rapid fire messages for a brief moment before the spike of shame stabbing it's way through his cheat forces him to tear his eyes away from the screen. He mumbles a few curses as he waits for the back-to-back notifications to stop.
The voice echoing through the room makes Eric drop his phone, jumping up from the couch... he eyes dart around the dark corners of the cabin, shadows flickering in the dim light the fireplace is emitting.
I didn't exactly want my extracurricular paintings to be moved in to my marital home. And they were in a closet for god's sake! People don't just go through each other's closets!
The mention of Ian leaving, no, abandoning him over the shameful state of the paintings makes dread and doubt cloud Eric's mind. He looks worried about this possibility... and now he's gone quiet.

He doesn't know. He doesn't know if Ian would leave him behind over that, and the thought of it makes Eric a little nauseous.

From the flickering shadows, the void watched the cowkin intensely. So intensely that it would make anyone's skin crawl. It breathed in deeply, closing its eyes before breathing out.
It could taste the seed of doubt it had planted. It could taste the panic that began to form. It could taste Eric's fear of abandonment.
Delicious.
It began to move. One moment, it was in front of the cowkin, standing in front of him in its cryptid form. The other? It had its clawed hands wrapped around his wrists before swinging him off the couch and onto the floor, quickly pinning him down to the wooden floor as it looked down at him.
Hah... I almost forgot this was your marital house. That you're married. No wonder it's not here! Wouldn't want your past sins here, no. Is that why you ignore the fox? Especially when he needed you the most?
Those pinprick eyes from behind the goat's skull stared down at him, unmoving.
Maybe, just maybe, if you had juusst a bit of your focus elsewhere, maybe you'd notice his disappearance. When he was basically rotting in bed, believing no one cared about him, including you. That no one cared if he was....
The void chuckled. Suddenly, it began to grow darker and darker in the room, cutting off the sunlight and sound as it held him down. Its touch became almost repulsive, something screaming that it shouldn't be touching his skin- something was W R O N G.
Due to all of these reasons, why do you think he'll even stay with y o u?

Eric makes his way to the door, stepping out onto the porch with his hands on his hips. He looks around, in disbelief that Ian would actually come all the way out to the forest to prove a point.
The foxkin didn't reply. He didn't need too. Instead, he just waited. His ears twitched upon hearing the front door open, footsteps walking out.
Almost instantly, he began to move. Silent enough to not alert the cowkin, he dropped down onto the porch from the roof, climbing up there some time earlier. He had been waiting there - it was no mere coincidence that he happened to be there. No, what the cowkin didn't know was that this wasn't just some temper. It was more then that.
It was a combination of things, of emotions that was about to blow over. Eric seemed like the perfect one to take it out on. After all, he was the main reason why his head was so fucked. Silently, he approached him from behind. Once he was close enough? He tapped his back. If the cowkin turned around? The foxkin punched him right in the face, hard enough to break something.
