on the topic of not having sex, why do people get so weird and hateful about asexual people. i really don’t understand. in a society where it’s PUSHED to wait until marriage, to be shamed for having sex, and so on, why is just not wanting to have sex such an issue for people? you remove the “lust and urges” from the equation and it’s different somehow??? are you just jealous??? idk . asexual ppl ignore the haters we luv u

as someone with bipolar i can go through really extreme moods swings, but also periods of not wanting to have sex at all, or maybe wanting to but my body is like no. im extremely lucky i found a partner who would never imagine trying to convince/manipulate/force me to do anything sexual. my love is happy just to watch youtube and drink soda and snuggle and that really recharges me and helps me.
