It has a dozen fiction stories with ace characters all over the spectrum and in so many genres. Im talking ghost stories, supernatural, drama, sci-fi, you name it. I've literally cried three times while reading it I feel so seen

I feel like this happened during the first season of Hazbin Hotel but the disregarding of Alastor’s Ace-ness is something I’m seeing a lot of on my socials. I feel like this is a discussion that needs to be had on why people are so willing to accept that other characters sexuality (Angel Dust being gay, Charlie being Bi) but when it comes to Alastor people just ignore it. “look at him, he’s so hot and sexy, raw dog me daddy” and its fine? There are some points like how Asexuality is a spectrum and stuff but to deny it all together because Alastor is nice to look out is bad. This is something that happens a lot in fandom spaces everywhere, this isn’t just a Hazbin Hotel thing. Ace spec characters aren’t given the same respect in terms of identity as Gay or Bi characters are.
TLDR: Asexuality is valid and shouldn’t be disregarded because you find a character attractive or because of shipping.
Sooooooo I'm glad I never bought any of the Harry Potter books. Hate that my mom bought all the movies though. Kinda wanna break those dvds in half now-

little rant
Somethimes i think I’m faking being ace. And then I remember that I am surrounded by barely dressed people of all shapes and shades and genders all day at work and not once did I have any kind of attraction to one of them. I mean. If I was allo then I would take a (respectful) second look at Someone right? But no. The only double take i do is: Exuse me. That person has a tattoo of a what on their where? Did I see that right?
And then I hold my ace keychain and nod to myself. I’m legit.
