yeah I’m a nonpracticing woman. I was raised female but I don’t really believe anymore yknow?
I’m culturally female. I don’t really believe in one true gender, but I do participate in some of the rituals I was raised in, when I feel like it. And I enjoy participating in the traditions of other genders too sometimes.
I’m only female on Christmas and Easter, for my parents.

This really should be a bigger story.
It’s not like the governor there who tested positive a month or so after he attended the Tulsa rally meaning there is some ambiguity as to when/where he caught it.
Cain got sick literally days after attending. There can be little doubt as to where he got it.

Reblog if you're queer, have ADHD, or hate the government.
Nobody needs to know which one.
Fully in support of them just keeping this name forever. The Washington Footballs. You cheer them on with one of these babies:
Just learned that the NYPD apparently edited their own fucking Wikipedia page to make themselves look better 😀

john green wrote a corny teenage love story. lin manuel miranda wrote extremely successful propaganda that obscured and rewrote america’s history into a cheery, genocide-free musical, and then used his clout to help get the PROMESA act passed. just objectively speaking john green is nowhere near as bad as lin manuel miranda.
doggone it the son of a gun just loved cock!
Can somebody break down Promesa for me? I'm not quite understanding what this is saying
The long and short of it is that Puerto Rico was having a government debt crisis back in 2016, leading to high unemployment, and PROMESA was passed in response to it. There’s a whole bunch of things about it that make it terrible, but broken down into broad categories:
a) The board in charge of it was composed entirely of non Puerto Ricans, and citizens of Puerto Rico have no control over who ends up on that board.
b) Said board was actually made more politically powerful than Puerto Rico’s own local representatives, able to effectively overrule any Puerto Rican official, elected or otherwise, on any matter.
c) PROMESA led to massive cuts in healthcare, pensions, and education, leading to the closure of hospitals and schools.
d) It’s massively eroded worker rights by limiting their sick and vacation day, cutting down on the amount of overtime pay they’re entitled to, and cutting holiday bonuses, making the people of Puerto Rico poorer.
e) Puerto Rico’s debt crisis was actually the US’ fault in the first place, the result of a century of being an annexed territory that the US aggressively taxes but fails to provide representation for.
(i.e. perfectly legal slavery)
New Orleans is one of the hardest hit cities in the United States, but I haven’t seen that point get much national mainstream media coverage. Furthermore, the racial disparities in access to medical care and healthcare outcomes in general in Louisiana are staggering, and this crisis has made that clearer than ever. This is truly atrocious
