“Hi.” Vi replied, her voice low and her grin wide. Felix was just the cutest little thing and when drunk she only got more adorable. Throughout her life and her career especially she’d dealt with many horrid drunks. Ones who became too confident, ones who became too sad, but Felix was just an even more precious little soul. She just found a little more confidence when drunk, just the touch she needed when it came to speaking her mind and doing exactly what she wanted, something she most certainly deserved. That evening, though Felix seemed quite happy to continue the social gathering, Vi very much much wanted to keep the blonde for herself. The older of the two smirked at the zoologist and how her focus seemed to always come back to her. With Fe around she always felt like the only woman in the world, something that she’d wanted since relationships had become a part of her life. It was a huge part of career, being center stage but Felix offered that to her whether it was a room full of people or just the two of them. Vi moved to pick up where Felix left off with her bowtie and she untied it with ease, keeping hold of the two ends in her hands. “Do I now? Well you’re looking pretty good yourself, stud.” She always appreciated her blonde’s kind words, ones that she got no matter whether she was dolled up to the nines or make up free in her dressing gown. “Did you have a good night?”
Letting the taller of the pair work on her bow tie, Felix couldn't even think of losing it. She never really could when she was around Vi. She was.. the only person on the planet who could make her smile no matter what the situation may be. Felix wasn't a bold person.. she didn't exactly put herself out there.. but she liked to believe that she treated Vi right.. she loved her how she should be loved and she.. despite how much Felix loved her, was at the other’s disposal if that’s what the New Yorker would ever wish. Felix's icy blue eyes never left those before her. Not even for a second. With hands holding her close, Felix let her undo her bowtie and hold the ends. "You really do.." She promised, reaching up to peck the others lips.. and then again, lingering a moment longer, thumbs brushing her delicate jawline before eventually pulling back. But hearing her question, Felix gave an obscure mix of a nod and a shake of her head as she pulled away, fingers busy trying to undo her buttons. “It was.. mhm.. okay.. yeah..” She nodded, pulling off her shirt, throwing it to the side, leaning somewhat on their dressing table. The scars from her accident were so plain to see, jagged, darkened skin brushing over her shoulder, much more obvious were those on her torso. What people didn’t see were the track mark scars.. most of which on the crook of her right arm or hidden under the leg of her boxers, skin of which with red. “It’s hard here.. New York..” She muttered, nails finding her skin. “I’ve tried to ignore it.. So hard.. because.. you.. you’re the only reason..” Felix insisted, shaking her head, trying to gather her thoughts.. her wicked temptations as she kicked off her trousers and shoes, much unlike usual, getting into bed in her matching Kleins, not bothering to hide the scars she was usually ashamed of. Maybe it was the alcohol? Or the other major thing on her mind. “We were.. coming out and heading home.. I was waiting on my driver and this.. guy..” Felix paused, unable to tear her eyes from the ceiling. “A 'friend’ I knew years ago.. he asked if I wanted..” He was no friend of Felix’s.. but she couldn’t even mention it.. what he sold.. what he was. “And I.. he.. showed me it.. Vi I.. had it.. in my hand..” She confessed, thumb pressing harshly against the palm of that very hand. “It was right there..” She muttered, holding up her hand. “And I was..” She paused. Vi didn’t need to know. She was drunk.. out of her mind.. but even Fe knew Vi didn’t need to know -- she was going to do it. Take that tiny little bag and go. But she didn’t. It killed her not to.. the reddened, scratched skin on her arms proved that. “I was thinking.. that.. I haven’t exactly got you that long.. and believe me.. I want you for as long as you’re let me hang around..” Felix insisted. “You’re the only reason I didn’t take that..”
