People want Hudson’s attention, which is why they post in threads. They know he’s there, that he sees it, and that he might respond. This breeds a lot of greed and arrogance.

We can’t and shouldn’t be held responsible for everyone who acts like a jerk and posts nasty things just to get noticed for a moment.

I love Hudcon, I love this fandom and most of the people in it, I don’t insult H and C’s friends or family's on their social media, in comments, or anywhere else, and I’m not going to feel guilty because of the behavior of those who do. And I don’t advise anyone else to either.

I don’t discuss my OTP where someone from my OTP is likely to see my headcanons, my excitement, or my frustrations—which I intend for the fandom, for shippers just like me. But I also have no intention of stopping being a shipper or condemning everyone who ships Hudcon. And I’m not going to take Hudson’s words to heart.

I haven’t done anything wrong. I love these guys; I love their love for each other. If that’s bad, well, so be it.
