if you think that female muses shouldnât have to be toned down for the comfort of other people?Â
Female muses donât have to be easy. They donât have to be cute, they donât have to hold back their drama. They arenât interesting despite their chaotic personality, but because of it.Â
If you are interested in interacting with female muses who are powerful, multi-layered and complicated, please help me spread this. I want to make a point.

Framtid paces for a moment, stopping in front of the white board with the blank projection. He's thinking about how such a terrible idea it was to just drop all of this onto these kids he just met, that's when he hears them.
They're in the parables, right? He was once a narrator, maybe he could help, he has the voice, he should be able to narrate a story to at least get them to calm down a bit now, he snaps his fingers and turns to them, the flow of his hair relaxing into a gentle movement, like an ocean.
"Hey, how about- how about going on a little adventure? We can keep searching for your mom maybe, maybe I'm simply wrong. Silly me, wouldn't be the first time i'm wrong about something!" He laughs nervously and tries to appear calm, succeeding for the most part
Framtid takes in a deep breath hoping this works, and then as he's about to talk, he stops. "Ah hah.. Before I try this, do you mind telling me your names?" He asks softly. He feels lighter, and looks more fluid, to say nothing happened with that breath is a lie.
Each girl gives out a sigh of relief. For a moment there they were worried. Man, good thing adults always know what to do!
Though when it came to names, the twins hesitated for a moment.
âShould we tell them?â, one of them whispered, though loud enough for the adult to hear.
âAre you kidding? What about âstranger dangerâ?, the other sister answered, quietly this time, as if to remark how her twin was too loud here.
âWell, he helped us this once, right?â
âYeah..â, the girl (who, on closer inspection, seemed a tiniest bit taller than her sister) turned to their guide. âIâm Alisa, and this is Oksana. But you can just call us âGirlsâ, âTwinsâ, etc. And donât worry if you get us mixed up, we actually like itâ.
Both twins smiled friendly.

He muttered something to himself, a pity, they donât seem to realize theyâre not where their mother is anymore. But who is he to break that to them? Either way he sighed. âTh.. The conference room, yes.â He thought for a moment, putting his hand to the left side of his face, the one which his hair covered, as he thought.
Framtid did his best to place himself in the office in a mental map of the place, he believes it should be fairly similar to what heâs used to. Eventually he snaps back to reality âJust, follow me, keep close.â Â He says to the girls as he looks around, before walking toward a hallway.
He made sure to stay on a path that made sense, until eventually coming to a sight much more familiar and preferable to him, a pair of two doors. âNow, itâs just on the door left to here.â And as he walked to the door on the left, he felt such a need to go through the right door, just something the room seems to do to people that have self control.
He resisted it of course and walked through the left door he once told his protagonist to go through. âJust here, I donât think your mother is here thoughâ Framtid says as he immediately goes to the white board to check if itâs been changed from what heâs used to seeing.
The girls followed the strange man. They kinda wanted to ask if heâs an alien or a genie of some sorts or something else. One thing the twins were sure of - the stranger is supernatural. The hair seemed like the most weird and interesting thing in his appearance. Yet the sisters were too shy to ask. At least, at the time.
At the set of two open doors both girls, though still following their guide, stared at the right door for a couple of seconds. It was opened wide, very unusual for an office, and the door ignited their curiosity. They felt like it was luring them, but they stayed on the path. This place was getting stranger with every discovery, the twins thought.
Finally, the conference room was reached and it was⌠rather small. But also empty!
âWhat? No oneâs hereâŚâ, one of the girls murmured with disappointment.
âMaybe, the conference was over before we came?â, suggested the other sister.
They turned to their guide and one of them coughed for attention.
âMister, do you by any chance know why this meeting was called?â
âAnd where everyone went? It doesnât usually take our mom that long to finish with her work and⌠weâre worriedâ. The sisters spoke quietly, with a stammer once in a while, and one of them was playing with her ponytale in her hand. The kids tried to not show it, but they were clearly anxious.
@aftcrpast
Framtid sighed, calming as he did, causing his hair to seemingly look more normal, nonetheless itâs dark blue hue was still unnatural, maybe it was also dyed? God knows but he remembers being born with it. Looking at the white board his suspicions were confirmed more than they were from him simply being here, these kids may be stuck here.
His attention was returned to the twins when one coughed, turning with a quiet hum as he listened to them. He sighs, should he tell them? how will they react? will they panic? worry? worse? As he begins to overthink this his hair returns to its magical look, and then he snaps back to reality, yet it stays the same.
âThe meeting ah.. I donât know, I was already gone by the time this meeting here was set to happen, in my scripts the information wasnât given but I believe it was to obtain more engagement from the audiences and be a better workerâ He walks over to the projector, pressing some buttons to confirm that it was about that, and yeah it was.
Framtid glanced at the kids and then away, lowering his head and letting some air out through his nose. âI need you to believe me on this, but please do not panic I donât think I can handle it. I am most completely sure you are stuck in The Parables, stories told by a narrator like I was once. Originally we- we told the story of 427, Stanley.â In his vision flashes a sight of his Stanley, now a narrator, it calms him a bit.
âBut- But- in order to- to tell the story of Stanley and, and only Stanley, we we- we deleted the other employees and judging by you being still.. children, you couldnât have been considered as employees by the narrator and- oh dear oh lord.â He puts his hands to his face, the way his body reacts to his panic is interesting, his hair returning to a full state of its starry look.
He casts a glance into his hair, which now floats by his head, there is no scene just static. He then turns to the kids, his electric blue eyes look scared. âIâm sorry, I donât know if weâll be able to find your motherâ He says in the most heartbroken tone, he knows what its like after all, to lose your kids to lose your parents, its worse than one can imagine.
Silence. They didnât know what to think, how to process all this information, let alone say anything in response. On the one hand, the twins were proud believers in magic and all sorts of supernatural stuff, so everything this now distressed man said to them they could believe as true. But...
âThis... this canât be trueâ.
âIs this a game show? A quest?â
Of course they didnât want to believe their mother is... deleted! This all seemed like a set-up for a quest where the girls had to find the exit - that would explain a lot! And that would mean that their mother is out there - alive and well!
Despite these thoughts (all the same going in both of the little heads), the sisters couldnât calm down completely. They needed a confirmation of their assumption.

What would you be? (Be honest, really)
A Narrator (perfectionist to the point of having a breakdown)
A Stanley (needs constant stimulation or you literally don't exist)
A Curator (detatched to a fault, has the ultimate burden of knowing)
A Timekeeper (always last one standing, always misunderstood)
A Bucket (objectified, loved but for the wrong reasons)
"..i hate these offices i hate these offices i hate these offices its so hard to move around when you're not able to see everything and phase through walls.."
A man repeats to himself as he walks around the halls of what is no longer his own office space. Faustino wandered the halls in which these twins were present, quietly complaining to himself as his nervous gaze directed itself to the floor. Wouldn't it be a shame if someone were to interrupt his complaining?
[ FAUSTINO "FRAMTID" ALBERICH / @aftcrpast ]
"Did you hear that?"
"I did and I am still"
Oh no, there was someone else here. This is not good. Someone was walking through the halls nearby and it was only a matter of seconds until they reach the girls. They don't have time to hide, so they exchange looks and whisper.
"Battle stance?"
"Battle stance"
One of the girls grabs a pen from one of the tables, the other grabs a stapler. That should do. The sisters' parents weren't raising quitters. The twins stood side to side, not particularly threatening (you could barely call it a "battle stance"), but they kept their makeshift weapons ready.
"Who goes there?", one of the girls asks loudly.
The loudness snaps him out of his thoughts, and not only that but it certainly startles him, shown by how he lost his balance and fell backward, even like that as he fell one could see he was tall. Taller than usual. His visible eye a terrified blue, anything is threatening to this man, he lives his days in paranoia after all.
"Plea- please don't, hurt me" His accent loose in his voice as he backed up, still on the floor. There was an odd look to his hair, it was slightly flowing, and other than the light colored streak, it seemed to have no shadow or light, just a void, and were those stars? Nonetheless it was odd.
It took him a moment to realize he was faced with two kids, twins nonetheless, which seemed to calm him. He moved quietly to be sitting instead of just pitifully laying on his elbows. "Uh- Kids? What are you two doing in the offices? The parables nonetheles.." He'd look away at the last part, muttering it mostly to himself.
There was a number on the back of his vest were any of the twins to go behind him for one reason or another, 221 was the number on it, embroidered with golden thread. Quietly, he stumbled up, looking down at the girls. "You should, probably try to find a way out of this place.. It would be a shame to waste your years in these empty halls.. Would be so much greater than ending up like me"
Again, muttering self pity to himself, can you blame him? He's been here so long he forgot when he got in, just a part of storytelling he supposes. Straightening his vest, he asked "Are you lost? I think I can remember the way back to my parable if you'd like to find more people. It's not safe alone here."
âFind a way out?â
Both girls looked confused. They already threw away their âweaponsâ as there was no danger, just an adult person that, to them, honestly, sounded pathetic. The twins were confused by the guyâs sorta magical look, but mostly by his words, so thatâs what they wanted to ask about first.
âI mean, yeah, we wanna go home, but weâre not going anywhere without our momâ, said the other twin.
It wasnât just because they wanted their mother to come home with them, she was literally supposed to drive them home as the girls didnât bring any money to school, so no bus for them.
And what do you mean by âwasting our yearsâ here? It hasnât been... that long since weâve arrived. I think?
The girl looked at her sister. She shrugged.Â
âAnyway, mister(?), you seem to know this office, can you lead us to...â
âThe conference room? The one where the... conference takes place right now?â
ââCause thatâs where our mom is supposed to be. And, I guess, everyoneâ.

Alice stopped dead in her tracks when she heard footsteps this was the first time in this strange building that she had heard anyone.
She gasped when she saw who was there a shadow man was on the wall in front of her and he had a very familiar voice.
She couldnât believe it she found the narrator, she would have been excited if it wasnât for the circumstances.
All Alice managed to stutter out was âEh, thanksâ before the narrator was once again gone.
She quickly made her way to the vending machine inputting the code and bringing some drinks and snacks from inside back for the twins.
When Alice returned, the girls slowly got back to their senses. Their fingers were still felt numb and their heads were a little bit clouded, but when they saw snacks, the twins rejoiced.
Eating chips and drinking some soda filled with sugar helped them a lot. They could finally see and hear clear as before. Hunger and thirst disappeared too.
âOh my gosh, thanks!â, Alisa smiled wide.
âYes! Thank you very much! This is exactly what we needed, it seemsâ, Oksana bowed playfully.
âAnyway, what gives?! Why did we suddenly felt hunger, huh?â
âYeah, we did eat at school and then got here. And we were only here for...â
The girl paused and glanced at the floor, counting in her head. The other replied with clearly fake confidence.
âAbout an hour or two... right?â, Alisa looked at her sister.
âI... Iâm not sure. Is there a clock somewhere nearby?â, Oksana looked at Omni.
Relying on the only adult in the group for any answer about this place was very logical in their minds, especially since she knows the said place.

Omni nodded âsure Iâll come with you, since there doesnât seem to be anyone here letâs head upstairs and see if we can find anybodyâ she suggested with a smile leading the girls towards a staircase.
âOh- thats not as long as I was expecting although I guess if everyone really did disappear then that wouldnât take long Alice added with a shrug.
âI mostly know this place but I havenât actually physically been is this area before but I think I know which way to go- this is going to sound weird but I only saw this area in a trailerâ she explained awkwardly.
The sisters followed Omni to a staircase. Theyâve seen it before, but never dared to go upstairs and definitely not downstairs. That was staff only! And thereâs a warning sign on this metal (therefore creepy-looking) door.
âIn a trailer? How could you see a room in a trailer?â âShe probably means a videoâ âOh, pffffft! Iâm so dumb, ha-ha!â Both laughed loudly.
âWeâre going up, right?â âI mean, itâs not like our mom wouldâve gone downstairs to the basement or whateverâ
Only a moment later two girls were going up the stairs, two steps per footstep. They werenât fast, but they didnât intend to be. It just seemed like one step per footstep wasnât enough for the girls - they were sporty.
Omni opened the door holding it open for the two girls before following them up, she payed the sign no mind thinking it didnât matter in an abandoned office anyway.
âYeah- like an advertisement videoâ added Alice as she lead the way upstairs.
âYeah, and I think most of the offices are in higher floors where this narrator guy should be, I believe weâre looking for floor number 4â she explained as she continued walking.
It wasnât long before she was overtaken by the two girls, Omni seemed to be stuck walking at a set speed thatâs he didnât seem to be able to change, Omni thought this was odd but there where weirder things happening at the moment so she didnât think about it much.
In a short time the company reached floor 4. The sisters have never been here and were hesitant to open the door. Then, they looked at Omni. Knowing that there was someone else with them, someone with more experience and knowledge (even though they just met), made them feel safer. So, the girls took a deep breath, and one of them opened the door.
They looked around the office and were kind of overwhelmed by how boring everything looked. And yet, everything they saw was new to them.
âSo⌠Youâve been here before, right?â, Oksana asked, looking at Omni.
Omni held the door open for the two as they came into the office thinking about how to the the question.
âWell- in a way, I havenât been here physically but Iâve seen this place beforeâ she explained as she entered the office after the twins.
Alice lead the way through the corridors up to a door labelled 427.
âHello? Stanley? Narrator? Anyone?â She called out.
Nobody responded, but the door to room 427 was opened and the room itself was empty. The person who worked here must have left and is somewhere else right now.
As the children wanted to ask Omni to tell more about Stanley and this so-called âNarratorâ, they both started to feel hungry. Like theyâve been hungry for a long while and only now it struck them. Why didnât the girls notice this before, in the lobby?
âH-hey, miss OmniâŚ? Is there a sort of cafeteria nearby?â, Alisa asked, as her stomach growled and her face suddenly turned really pale.
âY-yeah, same question, hehe⌠Oh no, Alisa, I think IâmâŚâ
Oksana couldnât finish her sentence. Her face, too, turned pale, and her body lowered itself, as the girl fell unconscious, followed soon by her sister.
Omni seemed shocked when the door seemed to open itself to an empty room.
âOh- thatâs⌠weird, how did the door open if no one was there, almost like, we went through a game triggerâŚâ she muttered out loud.
But before she could give it much through she was proposed with a question.
âCafeteria? Unfortunately no⌠but I think I know where to find a vending machine-â Alice began stopping mid sentence from the shock of seeing the two girls faint.
âEh- what do I do what do I doâŚâ she muttered to herself in panic
She looked around before darting in the direction of the two doors room making her way through the right door heading right for the vending machine, the only things he could think of that might help was getting the two girls something from the vending machine.
âEh- hello? Anyone here? I need helpâ she called through the empty halls hoping that there might be someone around ti offer her some advice in her panic.
[distant footsteps, coming closer]
(A shadow silhouette of a man with short hair and glasses appears on the wall. His brows are narrowed, and his low voice with a british accent shows irritation)
[footsteps stop] Ugh, goodness gracious, do I have to deal with everything? [paper rustling]
Okay, listen now, I'm only saying this once: the secret code to the vending machine is "4990". That's it, I left Stanley alone all the way out there just for you people, I hope you're happy. Good day.
(the shadow disappears)
