Look at me receiving the things I once prayed for.

Look at the mercy of Allaah and His generous giving when we didn't even ask enough.

If you focus on only pleasing Allah, He will take care of matters in your life in a way that will please you

it’s weird how someone can have made such an impact on you and hold significance in your life story and you’ll never forget them but you were probably just another person to them and they don’t even think about or remember you any more. and sometimes it’s vice versa

If all women with a bit of modesty would know about the fitrah of men and what is going on inside their minds, they would not show infront of them a bit of skin, or even raise their voices infront of (non-mahram) men. Women are and always will be the greatest fitnah for men.

"You are in need of guidance even if you're most pious and knowledgeable of all the people, you are in need of guidance untill death"

Oh Allah, I forget you in the presence of many, yet you never forget me. I sin like You are not watching and You forgive me like You didn’t see. Oh my Lord, You love me more than anyone else ever will, I now know that’s the only love I need.

Thank yourself for surviving what happened in your past. But remember that now you get to do more than surviving: you get to live. Even though it might seem scary now because you've been in survival mode for so long that struggle became all you know, it doesn't mean that everything will always be sad, that suffering is all that you will ever feel. You won't always hurt so much, there will be happiness in your life. There is more to life than just surviving, and being faced with changes is scary, even when those changes are positive. Sometimes it is hard to embrace something you haven't tried, and to embrace a new life is even scarier. But doesn't mean you won't figure it out, it doesn't mean you can't do this. You can live a fulfilling life now. Don't shy away from it. Face it, slowly, just one day at a time, you don't have to make big decisions for the next years. You can figure out what you want to do today. And that counts as living.
