also the attitude checks out with me buuuut you can play it like he’s being reminded of his dad’s issues by seeing his mom act similarly

One of the reasons I wouldn't want shinjuro as Absalom is cause Absalom is supposed to be wise and all that I love him but he's not doing all that, I'd rather have him and kyojuro take passive roles in senjuro's backstory seeing as Tim Burton's Alice has her own things going on back home I'd like to sort of mimic that a little (maybe Sen hasn't gotten the spot as Alice yet)
