~ the realm of possibility ~ jimin & hyeri
Whoops, he saw that. This time it was a sheepish smile that made its appearance. It was a pleasant change for someone to be in awe like her instead of completely freaked out, like others have been before.
She watched him curiously, he looked like he was kind of out of it for a few moments. Hyeri brushed it off to her imagination getting out of control, as usual.
"Newer than most, I guess?" she shrugged, wondering what exactly counted as a new student around these parts. It definitely hasn’t been long enough for her to find all the good wifi spots in the school or how to sneak around the rules with ease. Which she guessed made her pretty new in her mind.
And as per usual, she was going off, though this time in her mind, pursing her lips as she started debating the pros and cons of just shrinking and sneaking into the vents or something.
"I’m Hyeri, by the way." She almost forgets to add, giving a mock salute instead of a handshake.
Jimin played a bit with the ball in his hands, still a bit unsure of what to do. On the other hand, he was sure the others were waiting for him and the ball and would probably beat him over the head if he came back after like an hour. But at the same time, there was a girl. And she had a console in her hand, therefore making her a cool girl in Jimin's book.
"Ah.." He nodded at her comment, glancing at the console she held. "Um, so.. what are you playing?"
He felt even more like a kid, my god. This was not how he imagined things with girls at all.
"Like, I mean," He stammered, gripping the soccer ball a little tighter than he usually did. "You know, it gets boring staying cooped up in the room and I think i read all my mangas already and -- yeah,"
Yep, Jimin just wanted the ground to swallow him up right about now.
"I'm Hyeri, by the way." She said, giving him a mock salute that makes him crack a bit of smile.
"I'm Jimin. You are my noona.. right?"

Mina hadn’t quite expected him to agree to buy her food so readily—if a little reluctantly, but his fine was the crux of the matter—and her eyes immediately brightened in pleasant surprise. “Really?” she said, tone softening significantly. Her gaze was still wary, as though she expected him to renege on his promise at any moment, but there was a tiny smile emerging on her face.
Looking back down at the sticks in her hands, she raised her brows. “They’re just…street snacks. Cheap but good, you know? Don’t tell me you’ve never eaten them before. I don’t think they sell ‘fancy stuff’ at a carnival anyway,” she pointed out, not really taking his threat seriously at all.
The slight movement of his arm attracted her attention, her head tilting slightly as she caught sight of the bag hanging on his arm. “Oh, you bought stuff? I haven’t been to the stalls selling all the little trinkets yet. What did you buy?” she said absently, only half paying attention while she tried to shake the sand out of her clothes as discreetly as possible, thanking the stars that it was so dark.
At last, she muttered grumpily under her breath, “I itch everywhere now,” and shot him a dirty look.
"Yes really." Jimin scoffed, the urge to fold his arms and pout probably evident on his face. "Why do you sound so surprised?" Just because they've apparently seen each other in their petty states didn't mean that was all there was to him.
Even if she was kind of a brat.
They're both still rooted to the same spot as they were earlier, and Jimin feels the slightest bit awkward. So this is a normal conversation between them sounded like.
He froze up a bit once she asked what he bought, holding up the bag and peering inside. "Just.. you know, the regular plush toys. Stuff." He really didn't want to get into a conversation about his one-sided crush with someone who thought of him as a jerk. God, that would actually make a good drama, but all the same, weird.
He had to hold back a snort as she muttered, "I itch everywhere now," The look she sent his way could have killed. But then again, he never really paid attention to those things. "And what exactly do you want me to do? I already agreed to replace your snacks."

Mina’s lip curled in annoyance as she bent to dust a fine layer of sand off her clothes, the discomfort of those very grains finding their way into her clothes and shoes—coincidentally the very thing she had been making pains to avoid—only worsening her mood. Pulling her sand-covered sticks of food off the ground and straightening to face Jimin, she shook them in his face impatiently. “Thank you, because saying sorry really fixes everything, doesn’t it?” she grumbled sarcastically.
Perhaps she might have been a fault just a little as well, but she wasn’t about to admit that. Her mind had very neatly segmented the entire fiasco into the category labeled his fault—that her lovely walk had been ruined, that there was sand scratching horribly against her skin, that the snacks she had been munching on were no longer quite as edible.
But neither was she in a mood for a fight at the moment, so she fixed Jimin with a stare. “Okay, since I appear to have suffered more losses than you, how about you replace my food and we’ll call it even?” she said, eyeing him coolly. Perhaps she might have let it slide if she hadn’t still been nursing a grudge against him, but the fact remained that she was, and very much so. Besides, it would be interesting to see if he would try to run away again, and a soft huff of amusement escaped her at the thought.
Jimin rolled his eyes, his arms folded across his chest. Whatever had crawled up this girl's ass had probably died too. He pursed his lips to keep himself from saying that thought aloud though. It was night time and he hated to admit it, but she had leverage over him. A lot of it.
Damn late blooming self.
He shifted his weight from one foot to the other, looking up to stare at her intently. She wasn't like his friend's noonas, she was kind of.. meaner. But then again, that may be his biased opinion showing, given the fact that he already disliked her bossy, know-it-all self from their previous meeting.
He groaned inwardly once she suggested that he replace her food. He had already used most of his money on the games, winning a stuffed panda for Hyeri noona and some other stuff for ... his brothers. Yeah.
He had almost forgotten about the paper bag attached to his wrist, bringing it closer to him as he nodded. "Fine. It better not be one of those fancy stuff or I'm going to eat them all myself--"
It kind of sucked how he failed at comebacks, especially when he was trying to be intimidating. Where was the justice in that?

What to Do ~ Jimin & Jeongguk~
{* jeongguk had gained most control over his ghost form at least, a stage in development that he’s more than pleased to know he met. it doesn’t stop him from wandering the outside so early in the day ( and the sunrise is beautiful to watch on the roof, if he ever has the indulgence to fly up there ), levitating off the ground while going through the courtyard, snaking around the ever-changing maze, curling around the outdoor pool *} … … … ~ {* he floats absentmindedly near the entrance, contemplating on whether to go back in since it’s not exactly time to be jaehun’s wake up call *} … {* instead he spots someone exiting the school, instantly vanishing upon the person’s presence. he’s feeling a bit mischievous at this point so he stays where he is, waiting until they draw closer. when the time is right, jeongguk suddenly appears before their eyes all excitedly *} boo … !
{ -- Jimin sighed in relief as soon as he managed to exit the school, rubbing an aching arm as he starts walking. He still felt like his legs and arms could turn to jello at any moment, especially after yesterday's session. Yesterday had only been the third time he had attempted all the moves he had practiced after another week of doing nothing but watching -- } Ow.. { -- He mumbled as he tried to test his joints, moving his arms in circular motions. -- }... { -- He was so distracted, he nearly jumped in shock when a boy materialized in front of him, falling flat on his butt in surprise -- } What the fuck--
≼ (un)festivities / jimin & mina ≽
When Mina tired of the hustle and bustle of the spring festival, she would usually veer away to stroll along the quiet seaside instead, stepping lightly over the clean white sand to avoid getting the coarse grains in her shoes. It wasn’t often that she saw any others on these quiet walks—most people were here for the festivities, after all. And so she walked without fear of interruption, a few sticks of food in hand, head turned to look out over the dark waves, their crests reflecting the silver of the moonlight.
The sudden collision of another body against hers was wholly unexpected and sent her sprawling into the sand, her food falling a few feet away, now sand-coated and inedible. “What the—” Annoyed, Mina glared upwards at the dark silhouette before her as she pushed herself to her feet. The expression on her face didn’t improve one bit when she found her footing and finally saw the male’s face properly—if anything, it darkened even further.
"You!" she snapped, immediately recognizing the boy who had picked a fight with her one night in the kitchen. She hardly remembered what it was about anymore, but needless to say, her anger hadn’t yet fully dissipated before it all came flowing back. "Why don’t you watch where you’re going?" she demanded, hostility evident in the stiffness of her stance as she glared furiously at him.
Jimin sighed as he rubbed an aching arm. He normally loved festivals, often one of the first to tug his hyungs to almost all the games or to a majority of the food stalls. It wasn't often that he got to go to them, often staying at home while his mom worked since she hardly allowed them to go out by themselves (His mom was a tad too overprotective.).
The seaside wouldn't be his first choice at all, but it was quiet, peaceful, a few things he needed right now. He wondered if he was turning into an old man so early, smacking his forehead with his palm as he continued to think.
A distracted Jimin was a careless Jimin, and it was no surprise when not paying attention led to him walking into someone else, landing flat on his butt on the sand. Goddamn-- "I'm sorry." He muttered as he slowly got to his feet. I should really stop thinking too much--, he scolded himself, prepared to apologize some more and hope that whoever it was could take a joke.
"You!" Oh shit, it was that girl who chewed him out again. Jimin groaned inwardly. Of all the people he had to run into, it had to be her. "Why don't you watch where you're going?" God, her voice was shrill. It reminded him of his mom on a bad day, and really, he didn't want to be around for this.
"I said I was sorry."

spectre
spectre: my character watching over yours as a ghost.
Of all the things Jimin had experienced, he thought dying was pretty underrated. Or maybe that was because he had a morbid sense of humor and he found things like that amusing.
Actually, being a ghost was kind of fun. He could walk through walls, disappear and fly; he was much more unique than the other— he was going off-topic. Damn tiny attention span.
Surprisingly, the first person he ended up seeing was Seyong. Seyong had been a great hyung, buying him one of those lemon squares he liked so much whenever he had a particularly grueling session. Hyung stuff.
He sighed as he watched Seyong holed up in his room, his hyung’s usual smile gone. It was replaced by an uncharacteristic frown. No matter how hard Jimin tried, he couldn't get the elder's attention. He had tried rustling his old manga collection, dropping a pair of shoes, and everything in between.
He sat on Seyong's bed, hugging his knees as Seyong reached for the phone. He knew exactly what the elder was scrolling for.
Jimin wondered.. if Seyong had answered his phone when he had called.. would he still be alive?
I'm slightly intrigued what would happen with Memories.
memories: your character suffers from amnesia, and mine tries to help you remember them again.
Minseok had been a sunbae at his old high school. They had never met there, but that seemed more a blessing than a curse, given the fact that the elder's experience there had been a horrible one.
They had met again years later, in the most unexpected of places: Xavier's Institute. It had taken awhile for Jimin to earn Minseok's trust and now that he had lost it to amnesia.. well, it felt like starting back at square one, when his hyung had been so heavily guarded by his own mask that Jimin had almost given up.
"Hi." Minseok tilted his head a bit, lifting his head a bit as his blank gaze settle on where Jimin was. "Hello, do I know you?"
"Yeah.." The doctors had said not make any sudden movements, it might make the elder nervous. "I'm one of your hoobaes from that high school, Park Jimin? " He saw the elder's face tighten a bit, his next words leaving his mouth in a rush. "But we met here, actually. We started on the same day."
His hyung was still frowning, almost as if trying to place where he had actually met Jimin. "How.. how did we meet?"
"You broke a plate and you helped me sweep it up." Jimin supplied helpfully, the other boy chuckling at his statement. "I helped sweep? You do know I'm blind, right?"
"Yeah but.. you said once.. that you would like to help, and that you were grateful that I gave you that chance. That you wanted to be more than your handicap." He studied Minseok's face again, his brows still furrowed in concentration before the lines of his shoulders relaxed.
"Interesting. Are there any more.. instances of that?" Jimin sighed in relief, being careful not to latch onto his hyung's arm like his usual clingy self.
He may not have his hyung's trust back yet, but this was a start.
wrath!
wrath: our characters having an argument.
Jimin didn’t remember ever speaking to Kwon Mina. Sure, they were about the same age, had the same last names and there were probably more mundane things they had in common but — nothing. The institute was a big place. It was like high school really, some paths end up not diverging at all.
Or they could.. during unpleasant circumstances. Like now really.
It had been a joke really, one of those careless comments he threw out when he wanted to be particularly scathing for no apparent reason. He’d given up trying to understand his mood swings after he passed out in his room a few hours ago. His body ached, his temples were throbbing and he was hungry. Of course he had to go pick a fight when he had already been feeling crappy.
"I don’t care.." Jimin tried not to sigh at the barb in her voice, trying to keep his poker face on. He wasn’t going to show any weakness. "You don’t say things like that, no matter how awful your mood is."
His first instinct was to turn away and just go back upstairs but she was still talking. “Oh, so you’re going to run away? Go back up. What kind of guy just leaves without a word? Are you that scared?”
Now Jimin definitely felt his temper snap. “So what if I said something? You don’t know me at all so it’s none of your damn business.”
They stood at opposite ends of the kitchen, glaring at each other and daring the other to back down. They might have stayed there the whole night if somebody hadn’t come down for a midnight snack as well, frightened at the two mutants sending murderous glances at each other.
Jimin was the first to break eye contact, turning away to head back to bed. “Whatever. I’m not hungry anymore.”
Of all the people he had met, he was sure that Kwon Mina was the most infuriating.

Troublemaker ~ Jimin & Jayden ~
Jimin was bored, simple as that. And a bored Jimin was a restless Jimin. He had been lying in bed for the better half of the morning and it was getting tiresome just staring aimlessly at the ceiling.
This... was not the spring break he had in mind.
It took him about thirty more minutes to actually drag himself out of bed, looking for his so-called roommate and not seeing him in the general vicinity of their room. Another thirty for showering and putting on something decent. This sucked.
He pulled out his phone, sending a quick text to Hyungjin (Jayden really, but he had trouble saying that sometimes.).
[Text] Hyung ㅠ.ㅠ I'm bored. Play with me.
What to Do
{ -- Jimin doesn't know why he's up this early, why he's even downstairs at a time he deems unacceptable for any activity. He swears he's gotten a bit lazier with his morning regimen since he arrived at the institute. He pads down the stairs, running shoes in hand so as not to make any unnecessary noises before he reaches the door, pushing it open and running out into the warm spring air.-- } Finally.
