A sigh leaving his lips as he lay there in a world of his own, Joey was only brought back to reality when he heard Clemente speak to him. Turning his head to look at him, he smiled softly and shrugged. “As good as you’d expect, I suppose,” he mused lowly. “It’s weird being back, isn’t it? I didn’t expect it to be this hard, to be honest. I figured it’d be fine because we’ve done this before and we’re all used to it.”

It had been years since he’d been on this show and honestly? He thought people would have forgotten about it now. New reality shows came out all the time and Dax had assumed that one would have replaced this just as fast as this show replaced the one before. However, he couldn’t say he wasn’t excited to get back. Most people wouldn’t be excited about having to stay in the house throughout the week, having their phones taken, or having their time using basic everyday items restricted. However, they weren’t Daxton and he’d always had a soft spot for the show, especially since it introduced him to some of the most important people in his life and so, yeah, he was excited to be back. Walking into the kitchen where he assumed everyone would be, the boy readied himself for who he was going to see. “What’s up, losers?” He greeted them, a small but cheeky smile spreading across his face.

The bigger part of Joey didn’t want to be back in the house; he wanted to be in the real world doing his real job and being with his family. A lot had changed since being in the house the last time, and he knew that this time around, it was going to be so, so much tougher on him. That being said, there was a small part of him that was excited to be back, to see everyone again. But he wasn’t sure how long that excitement would last. Fixing himself something to drink, Joey turned around and smiled when he heard Daxton’s voice, a chuckle leaving him in response. “After seeing the IT movies, I’m taking loser as a compliment,” he replied with another chuckle. “How are you, man? Long time no see!”

“It’s almost like I never left..” Blue said to herself as she blew a few strands of hair from her eyes and finished unpacking. She hadn’t planned on returning to the show but of course her contract had said otherwise. Her eyes wandered the room, wondering who she’d be rooming with this time as she heard someone approach the doorframe, turning in their direction over her shoulder.

Joey had began to explore the house, having just arrived an hour or two ago, then getting distracted by catching up with some of the other housemates. He’d eventually made his way upstairs, poking his head around the doors, partly to be nosy and partly to see if anyone else had arrived without him realising. Seeing Blue in one of the rooms he’d walked in to, a smile pulled at his lips. “Oh hey!” he greeted, his voice perking up a bit. “Long time no see. How you doing?”

“how did we used to do this?!” violet called out loud to the house from her position at the top of the stairs, hoping at least one of the other residents would reply. sitting down, violet leaned her head against the wall and stretched her legs across the top step. it hadn’t even been a week and the boredom was already taking its toll, and her old routine of eating, drinking, bathing and reading had stopped working. “any suggestions on treating boredom would be appreciated.” she called out once again.

“I have literally no idea.” Joey said and shook his head, a defeated sigh falling from his lips, despite having been back in the house less than a week. His now busy life outside of the house had made him forget just how boring his time on the show could be, and he hadn’t been expecting it to be hitting him as hard as it had already. Looking up at the top of the stairs where Violet was sitting, he let out a small hum and made his way slowly up to join her, sitting down on the stairs a few steps below her. “I’ve been struggling as well, if it makes you feel any better,” he commented, offering her a single shrug. “I think everyone has been.”

Logan couldn’t believe it when he got the call. How did his lawyers at the time of him signing that stupid contract not let him know about this clause? He was pissed off that he was back here, after finally settling into a somewhat normal life. Leaving his suitcase by the stairs he strides into hall in search of the kitchen, swiftly finding it and sighing as he reached for the fridge dragging out the cartoon of orange juice, pouring it and sarcastically toasting up to the camera in the upper corner of the room before waiting for any of his old friends. Ready for the final round of bullshit that was likely to ensue.

To say the phone call had come as a shock to Joey was more than an understatement. For some reason, he’d never come across the clause in the contract that he was now kicking himself for have missing. It had taken him a few days to come to terms with what was about to happen, and walking through the doors of the house knowing all too well what was about to happen gave him a sensation of anxiousness he couldn’t quite describe. A sigh left his lips as he placed his bags down, his eyes locking onto the suitcase by the stairs, thankful that someone else was here, and thankful that said person would at least be a familiar face and know what he was going through. Taking a quick glance around the rooms of the ground floor, he eventually came to the kitchen where he saw Logan, a small, empathetic smile pulling at his lips. “I didn’t think there would be much more footage they could get out of us.” Joey announced as he glanced over at the other man. “I mean, pretty much everything thinkable has happened on this damn show.”
