if walls could talk

     “I am nooot being grumpy.” He replied in a sing songy voice, trying to prove that he was actually in a pretty good mood. Dylan tensed slightly as the other man moved his arm for him because now, they were actually spooning. He was full on cuddling with another guy, something he only ever did with Joey. It felt weird, but not wrong like he was expecting. “Needy.” He teased as he thought about if he should pull the blanket over himself too, but he quickly decided against it. “You gunna kick me out if I say I’ve never heard of it? I honestly don’t even know what it’s about. But I’ll watch whatever, so long as you don’t get mad if I fall asleep.”

“If you say so,” he rolled his eyes. Jackson was the king of being grumpy, so he could always tell when someone else was in a mood. He settled against his friend and used his free hand to search for the movie on Netflix, “No,” he shrugged, “I’ve never seen it either. I’ve just heard it’s so stupid that it’s good,” he explained. Jackson selected the movie and pressed play. “I never get mad at pretty boys falling asleep next to me,” he teased. He was obviously playing with Dylan, but he should have been used to that by now. Jackson was relentless when it came to flirting. No one he knew was safe by any means.

     “Fine.” Dylan shrugged, looking his friend over as he stood above him. He had wanted to go to the beach, maybe drink a few beers and watch all of the attractive people who passed, but Jack didn’t seem to be in the mood and he didn’t want to push it. After a few seconds of debating, the man sighed and climbed onto the couch behind him as if they were spooning, but kept his arm to his chest. The term ‘No homo.’ almost slipped out, something he said to his best friend Tristen all the time, but he was lucky enough to catch it beforehand. “This good enough?”

“Don’t be grumpy, or I’ll kick you out,” he threatened. A small smile formed on Jackson’s lips as the boy laid behind him. He really loved affection and just being close to people, so when his friends obliged him he was filled with joy. He rolled his eyes and reached back to grab Dylan’s arm and wrapped it around himself, “Now it is,”he smiled. “What should we watch? I heard The Kissing Booth is really cheesy,” he suggested.

Kyle matched his smirk, shaking his head as his eyes bore into Jackson. “Such an ass.” Turning to glance at the waiter, Kyle tried not to sneer but it wasn’t easy. “I need a Ballast, bottle - Sculpin preferably - and four shots of Patron.” He glanced back at his boyfriend and back at the waiter who hadn’t left. “Um… You can go now.” He hissed, rolling his eyes as he turned back to Jackson. “See what you do to people? That cute face just gets slutty bartenders excited. And handsome, wholesome boys apparently.” He lied, referring to himself.

He shrugged his shoulders in agreement. There was no denying that he was indeed an asshole. “God, it’s so hot when you order people around,” he winked. Jackson reached out and grabbed Kyle’s hand, “You shouldn’t have kept me waiting, I guess. I can’t help myself, you should know this by now.” He leaned over and kissed his cheek and whispered in his ear, “I can look, but I won’t touch.” He sat back in his chair and kept Kyle’s hand hooked in his, “What took you so long anyway?”

presley resented serving in the place he usually sang, but any extra cash was more than welcome, and he didn’t mind a little distraction from the mundanity; he raised an eyebrow and followed the mans gaze, leaning his elbow on the back of his chair. ‘sure, if you’re into boys who dress like private school personified. he looks like he drives a honda.’ 

“I don’t care what he drives mate, I just care if he’s into me,” he chuckled. Jackson looked up at the man, “What kind of bar is this? I swear there are hot dudes everywhere I look. Not that I’m complaining,” he laughed. He glanced back at the boy and groaned as he started kissing the girl next to him, “And he’s straight. I’m going to need another beer.”

the corner of alyssa’s lip twitched; almost moving into a smile but efficiently stopped halfway through the motion. instead, the female reached for her cappuchino, letting her eyes move over towards the waiter in question before revealing her conclusion. “… by the way he has been serving you alcohol for the last hour, without asking for ID or if you’d like to see the menu… i would say that he’s probably writing it on your tab as we speak.”

Jackson turned and gave the woman a friendly smile, “That’s a really good point. Too bad I can’t have him,” he sighed. Jackson loved to flirt. He’d honestly hit on anything that had legs and could make coherent sentences, but that’s all he’d do. Two boyfriends was good enough for him, for now. He loved playing games so much, it was hard to give up. “You want his number? If he gives it to me, I’ll pass it along.”

such a cringe worthy line said by the other male made jake’s face contour with distaste. even a few tables over, he couldn’t handle listening to such a lame line. he shook his head, drinking from his own glass, ignoring everyone else around him as he turned his head towards the night. he wasn’t sure how he found himself in a bar right now but it was summer. who cares? “with that guy? no, he looks more like a tie me up, one night stand, kind of guy. yikes.” 

“Maybe I’m into that kind of shit,” Jack grinned. “What about you? You like to be tied up or do you like to do the tying,” he teased. Jackson moved over to where the man was sitting. “I’m Jackson, but you can call me Jack. What’s a pretty boy like you doing here alone?”

“Always the charmer aren’t you?” Vance smiled as he nodded to the waiter before looking to Jackson. Vance’s drink, compared to his friend, being just a glass of sprite. He would be twenty one in exactly thirty five days but no matter how hard he tried with the waiter, he refused to give him a beer. A single brow raised as his gaze followed the other’s, his attention resting on the double date. “Well that depends, who do you think they’re there with. You can definitely beat out the dude but that girl? I don’t know man, gorgeous.”

“What can I say? I’m a sucker for cute boys,” he shrugged and took a long drink of his beer. His gaze followed the waiter as he disappeared into the kitchen. It was no secret that he was a player. Something both of his boyfriends should know by now, but he digressed. Jackson looked at the girl and scoffed, “She’s all yours man, definitely not my type.”

Kyle could see the look on Jackson’s face as soon as he entered the bar. He quirked a brow, his eyes studying the waiter for a second. Deciding he wasn’t cute enough to be a threat, Kyle made his way across the bar and slammed his phone onto the table while his boyfriend was distracted. “No, you absolutely do not.” Taking a seat across from Jackson, Kyle folded his hands over themselves. “You’re lucky I share you with one person, let’s not try to double it.”

The sound of the phone slamming on the table jerked his attention away from the waiter and her turned to face his boyfriend. Jackson smirked at Kyle. He loved making him jealous, it was hot. “And hello to you too, babe. I ordered you a drink a half hour ago, you took too long so I drank it and I got bored. You know what happens when I get bored,” he sang.
