A few years ago before it was known as âEl FĂŠnixâ, it was actually Hugoâs old stock car when he used to race in local racing events at Jasper Speedway. Back then it was just called El FurĂo CarmĂn, or The Carmine Fury. The Carmine had won Hugo many races throughout his career, though it did also go through plenty of crashes too, though Hugo almost always managed to come out of a crash mostly unscathed while the Carmine took most of the damage, some people thought that Hugo was indestructible, others thought it was the pair of fuzzy dice he kept would, but either way heâd walk away from the crash. Hugo even sometimes sold parts of the car that came off during a few crashes, parts like mirrors, bumpers, exhausts, loose lug nuts, engine parts, and other things, he even sold off a door once or twice, either way, itâd always be fixed up and ready for the next race. The Rojo kept going until Hugo had a near fatal and career-ending crash, and this time the Carmine was completely wrecked from the violent crash. and rather than scrap it or sell it off, Hugo figured why let it go to waste? He loved that car even if he couldâve died in it, and it had gotten him so far in his three year career, he just couldnât part ways with it. So, he brought the old car to his shop and worked on it tirelessly, working to restore the challenger to its former glory, before it was a race car to begin with, and that's just what he did! Giving it new parts, a new coat of paint, and even a new engine that made it run just as powerful when it was on the track, and another new pair of lucky fuzzy dice, the car practically looked brand new, giving it the nickname âEl Fènixâ!
