Hey y’all, this is the second time Im writing this because I forgot what a bitch number can be about deleting uploads. Anyways you just got hit with one of my frankly over dramatic attempts at poetry. cause my brain has decided to be sentimental today and unfortunately sentimentality is not very desirable in an APA formatted discussion post.

So I thought that I’d post some study shots as inspiration for me and for whoever runs across my tiny little voice in the void.

I have poetry in my head,

Its long and flowing

Ends with faness and a flourish

Not because it needs to be beautiful

But.. because it needs the beautiful

The gorgeous minds of America

Looping thought and impassible empathy

Wells of kindness, and sunbaked smiles

The cry in the storm

Blood soaked earth, planted anew with food

With wildflowers

With promise

I have words in my throat

Strong, bitter and pure

A rally cry, a whisper

Lyrics of songs that tickle the mind

Brush the heart

I want to my voice loud,

My voice heard

I want my word to ripple and repeat

Till we brake the dawn in unison

Till my tongue is your tongue…

Known

I have work in my hands

And sometimes I don’t know how

How hand turn a field to flower to fill

How time and pigment become a conversation

How my sweat builds fire and fences

Builds me a sanctuary

And sometimes I don’t understand how,

It’s not enough?

How I sit in sun and shade

On green grass, warm and full

With poetry in my head

With words in my throat

With work in my hands

And I am…

Not enough

Or perhaps…

Took a trip to the beach! Now back in CA with a month of semester to go. Feels like the year has gone by so fast! And there’s still so much to do!

Have a job interview coming up but I know my pups are cheering for me! Though they are still a little tired from our travels.

Study: last push

Language learn kicks ass! I know cause it kicked mine. But at last we arrive at the final exam. Luckily Iv got two snuggly loves to help me do my last study night of latin.

Just have to give a shout out to dead languages, they really are the coolest and super under appreciated. Just think of how latin derived words we use on a daily basis!!

Sometimes we all need a little pouch time

Ollie (the bun) enjoying some moving cuddle time with mom. She got her butt whooped by her sister who decided enough was enough. Hopefully these two will reconcile and peace in the bunny palace will be restored.

Simple day today. Did some art, did some exercise, completed all my homework!

First day of class!!!!!

Did my fist day of Latin today, sadly we are online again for the first month. But! That did not stop me and my friends from meeting up to despair about the amount of homework we are drowning in.

Despite the new burden, I have managed to exercise once more! Gold star for me! There’s something very satisfying about making a step in the right direction. Even if you end up going two steps back on occasion, every step forward is important to recognize.

Finally back on campus!!!!

Hi! Im back! It’s been kinda crazy (landed my self in the ER *again*) and the whole campus is covered in two feet of beautifully annoying snow. It is very pretty.
