Alright, I admit it. I decided to learn Russian because of a fictional character under the name of Ilya Rozanov and because the actor who played that character also inspired me and he’s Connor Storrie.

Which free language learning apps would you recommend?

I can't and don't want to use duolingo since they do everything with AI now.

I tried Ling, that's supposedly similar to duolingo but with "experts" but the lessons seem very random (like for example teaching the words for 12, 14, 25 and 40 but none of the other numbers or how counting works in that language (since in some languages like French you basically have to do math))

Most of the others either rely on AI or cost something, and I'm not in a position to pay for anything tbh.

I'm thankfull for any recommendations, especially for apps that teach multiple languages, but right now I'm trying to learn Russian (and the above is just one example about how most free learning recources for that are not helpfull, so yeah :/ especially greatfull if you have recommendations for that direction)
