Before you publish your manuscript, ask yourself:
Have I had someone read this who isn't family or a friend?
Friends often tell us what we want to hear.
Beta readers tell us what readers actually experience.
A good beta read can uncover: ✓ Pacing issues ✓ Plot holes ✓ Character inconsistencies ✓ Confusing scenes ✓ Weak dialogue ✓ Reader drop-off points
