Writers, That Draft You Keep Saving… But Never Sharing
You open it. Read a few lines. Fix something small… then close it again.
Not because it’s awful... but because it doesn’t feel ready yet.
That “not ready” feeling keeps a lot of good stories hidden. Not because they lack potential, but because something isn’t fully clicking on the page. A scene might need more weight. A moment might be needed to breathe. A character might need to feel more real.
You don’t need to start over... you just need to see it clearly.
I read your work with fresh eyes and give you honest, focused feedback on what’s working and what’s holding your story back. No rewriting your voice. Just the kind of insight that helps you move forward with confidence.
Because your story doesn’t need permission... it needs clarity.
📩 If you’re ready to stop holding back and start shaping your story, send me a message.
📖 Most writers don’t need harsh criticism. They need honest feedback from someone who actually understands stories.
That’s what beta reading is.
A beta reader helps you spot: ✨ weak pacing ✨ confusing scenes ✨ flat characters ✨ plot holes readers may notice later
One important lesson every writer should remember:
👉 “Just because a story makes sense in your head doesn’t mean it feels clear to the reader.”
Sometimes all a manuscript needs is a fresh pair of eyes.
As a beta reader, my goal isn’t to tear stories down — it’s to help writers strengthen what already makes their work special.
Writers, what’s the hardest part of finishing a story for you? 👀
Writers, tell me about your current WIP
There’s something special about letting someone new step into your story. A fresh reader experiences everything for the first time. The characters, the tension, the quiet moments, and the scenes that stay in your mind long after you’ve read them. That kind of perspective can reveal what’s already shining and what might need a little more space to grow.
I’m currently looking for works-in-progress to beta read. I enjoy getting lost in a story, reacting to the characters, following the emotional journey, and noticing the pacing and small details that keep a reader fully invested. I always aim to share thoughtful reactions and supportive feedback from the perspective of someone experiencing the story naturally.
If you’re working on something and would like a new reader to spend time with your draft, I’d love to hear about it. Tell me a bit about your project or the genre you’re writing in.
You can reply here or send me a message. I’m always excited to discover new stories and connect with other writers.
Announcement!!!
Okay, I am currently working on another Xaden Riorson Fic and need help deciding on how to post it. It's looking like 5-8 Chapters, around 900-1200 words each.
What do I do?
Post Chapters one at a time (900-1200 words each)
Post it in 1-2 larger parts ( 3k words each)
Also!!!!
What do we think about the writing style I've been using?
I know a lot of people on here write in full paragraphs, and I usually do more line by line formatting. Is one easier to read than the other, or should I switch it up?
Let me know what you prefer!!

The world doesn’t need another perfect writer. It needs your story.
