This scene in the Archon quest really irked me.

Fae by nature, are really adamant to keep their promises. Words, for them, are like laws. For this very reason, the fair folk rarely made them, and even if they did - by half-truths and omitting truth, they usually managed to get themselves out of it.

And in this scene, Flins promises Illuga (very blatantly at that) his return, even though he cannot guarantee it. He does something, most fae seldom do. Going against his very nature, to promise something he cannot see to the end.

And the scene with autumn leaves, where he, in between words, promises Illuga to rest at his gravestone once he is dead? This man is pathetically down bad for all Nod-Krai to see.

The yearning competition had been held by him for years now.

I know Batlantern isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but it’s so funny to me that Hal is the one (1) person with an even tenuous claim on being able to enter Gotham because Gotham exists in his space sector and even Bruce can’t fully ban him from the city without compromising a lot of League/galactic security.

And that’s such good fuel for an enemies to lovers fic, right? Space cop who absolutely does not want to go into Gotham but sees it as his duty, and Gothamite protector who refuses to let anyone else into his cesspool of a city except for one space cop with a glowstick who’s 98% asshole but 2% respectful enough to only intrude when there’s aliens involved…

hit dexmatt with the married, established relationship beam but like, toxic. with a dash of secret relationship.

i find it hilarious if somehow they tie the knot accidentally and since catholicism doesn't allow divorce matt will grind his teeth and commit to the bit. he keeps the marriage hidden because how can he even approach this conversation without karen wanting to skin him alive.

both of them ignore that shit entirely, stomping on the marriage crazy avoidant style during the course of ddba events. dex occasionally drops into matt's life and threatens to break the news just for funsies until matt is ragebaited into having nasty sloppy marital sex with him. they sometimes call each other "husband" like a slur.

anyway they got found out when matt went to jail. yay

Just rewatched the Sabaody auction house bit, and honestly insane display of willpower from Law not immediately dropping his panties. I can only assume that’s the real reason he went to Marineford later; he used up all the willpower he had not sucking Luffy off right then and there and so was left with none to resist the urge to run into an active war zone to save the life of a man he met one time for maybe an hour.
