i’m calling it right now, between the emphasis on thatcher’s guilt over following orders and letting mark die and how much sarah hates him for it, and thatcher’s gut wrenching and repeated guilt over having ‘run away’ from the murray house where ruth died even if i’m 99.9% sure she was already dead when he ran i would bet every dime i have that in vol 5 or 6 thatcher’s going to die, likely protecting sarah, probably with a harrowing eddie munson-esque ‘i didn’t run away this time’.

The heretofore named “Hale” comes from unknown origins. Earliest files show brief stints at various foster and group homes until he became an emancipated minor at age 16. Hale joined the military and soon after segued into an undisclosed role with the Navy SEALS. After receiving a dishonorable discharge with a trial that was dismissed, Hale began working as a mercenary for hire.

General Andrew Davies hired Hale to track Jamie Campbell and her team in 2017.
