EMBRACE YOUR DREAMS

Sephiroth felt his back bump into something and looked up. Of course he had to run into that other soldier. What was his name again?

"Zachary," He greeted calmly, moving slightly to the left as another strike of lightning came off the zombies.

At least the stars were nice enough to give him back the bustersword before going dark. Even if it's not permanent.

He swings the hefty blade around with practiced ease, uses it with a fighting style uncannily similar to a certain someone. A mixture of unarmed strikes and the same strange refusal to use anything but the blunt back of the blade.

It's hard to think of what an appropriate reaction to seeing him is. For her, it's not the first time but for him, it must feel like the entire world's stopped. "...Good to see you too, Zack." she finally says and even manages a small smile toward him though there's still that awkward air floating between them.

"Yeah— I think I got the memo already, heh." He rubs the back of his neck, offering her a small smile of his own as he takes in her expression. The tenseness to the air around them.

He can't ignore it. He doesn't really know how to address it just yet, though.

Bonsai lessons

Sephiroth felt his heart skip and his chest tighten at his words. He gripped his sword and turned his back to Zack. He wasn't going to let him in; neither him, nor Angeal.

"Weapons don't deserve peace," he said. "All we're designed to do is kill. That is all."

He sat down on the edge of the cliff with his sword beside him. He looked back over at Zack. Sephiroth didn't want to leave, but he was the one who intruded on Zack's space. "You were here first and it's a public space."

He sighs, and joins Sephiroth at the edge of the cliff. Though, he keeps a mindful distance. Idly swings his legs over it, kicking one back and forth to try and exercise some of his restlessness.
