He can't help but bring an arm around the young boy. His mother may not be here, but he'd like to believe that somehow, she was watching wherever she was, and she was happy to see how far her little boy had come.

Sephiroth's wish is a surprise, honestly.

"Aurelius is right. You'd have a really long name," He says with a soft chuckle.

"I do not have a last name. My name alone is an alias," He admits, "but..." he looks to the sky as the fireworks release more beautiful colors.

When he looks to Sephiroth, his smile only grows, and his heart is ever the warmest. He's... so, so happy.

"My father's name was Angelus Solara. I will give that to you if you'll have it."

"Then, Angelus can be my middle name," he said, "And, my last name can be Tempest-Solara. With a dash to connect them. If that's okay."

Sephiroth Angelus Tempest-Solara. It was still a mouthful and long, but at least it felt like a proper name. He felt at ease as his emotions subsided slowly into a calm satisfaction.

"We are a family. And we are honored to call you our son."

He hoped that they could make many cherishable memories like this one. Together.

He closed his compact mirror and held both Aurelius's and Klaus's hands. He looked up at both of them nervously. "May I take on both of your last names?" Sephiroth asked. It had been on his mind since they adopted him.

Klaus lowers himself to one knee. "Here," He lowers his head, both hands rising to unclasp a necklace (A dogtag). It has someone's name written on it: Angelus Solara.

"Sephiroth, listen--," He crouches down once he's teleported them away from the isle. Upon Sephiroth's request, they arrived at the front of someone's doorsteps. Klaus brushes through Sephiroth's hair and looks him in the eyes.

"Right now, it isn't safe at home. I think Aurelius isn't feeling too well, so...until he feels better, stay here, okay?"

Why, this feels so familiar. He frowns, eyebrows knit together. Hadn't his own father done this before? Sure, he came back, but...

He clung to Klaus's arm. He couldn't hide the fear that still lingered in his eyes. That's what they all promised. They'd stick around; they'd be back. A terrified whimper escaped his throat.
