I just made this blog and i’m looking for some blogs to follow

"I don’t recognize you either…! Welcome!"

"How selfless of you." the Hatter snickered with a crooked grin. "Working so hard for very little thanks."

"I suppose," Dormouse mumbled, fidgeting.  "But I’m supposed to make Master happy."  More like he was trying to make up for his sins from another life, but that was beside the point.  "I don’t need to be thanked for doing my job."

"Perhaps not." Break answered. "Though I can't say I really understand why you'd be so devoted. That never ends well."

"How very odd." Break sneered, but he couldn’t deny how intrigued he was by the possibility of having Cheshire want his help. That could work in his favor. "Well, Cat, if that’s the best you can come up with I’m in no place to argue. Don’t expect me to go out of my way to keep you safe, though~ I’d be more than happy to let you die!"

Cheshire rolled his eye and let out a grumbling sort of yowl, as if to say that he was more than capable of defending himself or hiding from any danger, his tail flicking in the air before he got up, wondering if the man was going to pick him up or if he was going to have to leap onto his shoulder or head in order to not have to struggle to keep up with wherever they were going.

Break gave a little huff and held out an arm for Cheshire to climb up. Emily was balanced on the other shoulder, so there wasn't much available space for the Chain. The Hatter decided the doll was more important to him.

"This is most certainly unexpected…. May I ask you how you ended up here?"

"Not a clue~!"

Break looked down at him. "Oh my, are you expecting me to help? To bring you with me or something? Is that it?” he asked with a grim chuckle. 'I could use him to torment Gilbert, haha~' he thought suddenly.

Cheshire bristled up a little at the chuckle, though he soon smoothed his fur and then meowed quietly.  Yes, he was going to give up his pride and go with the Hatter to find a new reason to live.  Hopefully he wouldn’t be teased too badly for it, especially since he already felt so foolish having to ask for help in the first place.

"Your friend, eh?" Break muttered, smirking ever-so-faintly. "I see. I suppose perspective must change everything, even how people view an individual. You know Gilbert in a different context than I do~"

Dormouse blushed slightly.  ”Yes… Raven is my very best friend,” he murmured, cheeks pink.  ”And I don’t really meet with Master Gilbert a lot… Master wants him safe and happy though, so usually I hide when I’m trying to help him so Master Gilbert won’t be upset about seeing me.”

"How selfless of you." the Hatter snickered with a crooked grin. "Working so hard for very little thanks."

"Hm. Greetings, I suppose~"

"That was rather unenergetic."

"Oh, my apologies! Were you expecting something grander~?"

Break turned his attention that way. "Oh?" Break asked. What a strange creature. It had been ever so long since there was someone Break couldn’t read like this. Someone he couldn’t predict the exact actions of. That could be either a very beneficial thing or extremely detrimental. He had yet to pick which it was.

Cheshire remained in feline form, only moving to get up and place a single paw on the man’s leg.  He kept his claws sheathed, making it clear that he wasn’t a threat.  He really didn’t want to fight again, not when he would likely lose.  No, what he wanted was a purpose, a reason to live… and he knew that the Hatter could provide him with that.  Somehow.
