im looking at the community on here for people who identify as addicted to using roleplay chatbots and are attempting to "recover". shit is bad for them right now, i wish them the best. i think it may be helpful if an older person (they all appear to be teenagers either mentally or chronologically) with experience in recovery from anything helped them out with some of the core concepts of recovery, because right now its ten posts a day of "i compulsively use chatbots because i dont want to talk to anyone i just want to be passively affirmed" and "i read six hours of fanfic today instead of using a chatbot of my comfort character, and i am saving the environment :)" and i think this is going to continue until someone starts taking them seriously as being in distress, which they are, and many seem to be having serious compulsion behavior. but they have misidentified the source of the distress. i havent seen anyone in there perceive that being situated to do nothing but consume inputs all day is the issue here, not the fomr the input is taking, but i guess in of itself that is one of the stages of recovery so idk maybe it will work itself out

i know folks are gonna call me a pedo for this one, but i grew up seeing my mom and grandma naked. they had health issues and at times needed care and help showering. and i truly think more kids need to be shown the nonsexual reality of naked women at a young age. there is nothing sexual about my grandmothers breasts, they were simply body parts. more women die of heart attacks because people are too afraid of breasts to do real chest compressions, because they are scared to touch their breasts. the sexualization of our bodies literally kills us. i need people to be more normal about naked bodies and i'm 100% serious.

genuinely the most haunting, fucked up scene in not the matrix franchise and beyond. sometimes i still get this like... Episode (one I often get when experiencing mentally painful intrusive thoughts or memories, where my whole body jerks on reflex, then tenses / curls up and my head shakes for a few seconds) when remembering it. especially the way she screams "I'M REAL! I'M REAL!!!" in a distorting voice as she's torn apart? horrifying. youd need to be painfully unaware of the trans experience to argue theres no similarities.... also unaware the wachowskis are trans lol?
