I got to go.

What I also didn’t realize is that many of you are from outside the US. I chose to only ship within the US because of budget reasons, but seeing just how enthusiastic you’ve all been about this- If we reach the goal of $1500, I will open it up to international shipping. 

This does mean that my stretch goals will have to be adjusted for international shipping, making the goal posts just a little higher, but I think that’s do-able. You guys have been great! I’m just… I’m wowed by all of you! 

Well…. I just got laid off of my job today. And unfortunately since I signed an at will hiring agreement, they had the right to terminate me at any time without disclosing the reason why.

So today I show up and my manager takes me into the back and tells me I’m terminated. I didn’t even get a reason why. So as you can imagine I am incredibly upset and stuck.

I’m in my 20s and have a lot of bills to attend to every month such as my phone, car insurance, credit card bill, hospital payments and other utilities. I’m already looking for other jobs but in the mean time I desperately need to make some money.

And so to get to the simple but very important point of this post, I am willing to draw anything for a couple of bucks.

I’ll set the prices low since I know I’m still improving. I was going to wait a while to open commissions so I could improve my art a bit first but with this sudden setback, this is the way things have to be unfortunately.
