Annabeth is so CLEARLY a lesbian-like she instantly dislikes Percy and Jason(boys)but bonds with Piper and Reyna(girls)just as fast and she shows a distaste for traditional femininity which combined with her general rowdiness can SO EASILY be read as her being a baby butch.And it's so typical that those things are reduced to 'tsundere quirks uwu' instead of letting a female character not care about men without falling in love with them eventually and letting her fall in love with women.Rick could have made her and Percy a sweet,healthy couple but instead he forced the tired narrative that if a boy and a girl bicker,they're destined to fall in love,no matter how unhealthy it gets.Also,her crush on Luke?Complete bullshit.He deadass raised her since she was seven and it would have made way more sense for her to look up to him as an older brother.Let women have platonic relathionships with men

There is quiet literally no good reason to be anti Percabeth because Annabeth abuses Percy but then ship him with Luke.The Lightning Thief literally ended with Luke's ugly grown ass trying to murder a twelve year old Percy and he not only continues his efforts in all the following pjo books but actively abuses other kids too.Hermes neglecting him and May going insane because of the oracle thing does NOT justify child abuse,including grooming a girl who was 18 at the oldest(Silena)while being 22 at the youngest,just like how Frederick being a bad dad and Thalia dying giving Annabeth abandonment issues doesn't justify her constantly insulting and sometimes even physically assaulting Percy and bullying Rachel because she has a crush on him.You want Percy to be bi?Jason,Frank,Leo and Nico(who CANONICALLY had a crush on Perce)are all Right There and are not nearly a decade older than him or abusive.How hard is it for you to headcanon a character as bi without shipping them with characters who either abused them or who they have a p*dophilic age difference with or godforbid both?No,really,i'm asking,as a bisexual genderfluid person.Awnser quickly

Rick Riordan is the man who wrote a 13 year old black girl as 'mature for her age' so she could be the 'team mom' to characters three years older than her!Why is it to hard to believe that someone so racist would write an abusive relathionship as an ideal romance!!!!!Percy and Annabeth are not 'soulmates' just because the narrative says so!!!!!!!Why on EARTH do you care more about some fictional cishet ship between two white people than the feelings of real life abuse victims!!!!!!!!!!
