The fact that I can sing "Last Summer In America" better than ever while I can barely sing because of the wildfire smoke is ironic to say the least.
Heard a chord progression in my head that's sorta similar to the end of "Fucks Me Up" and now I'm sobbing????
Josh Widdicombe ass Game Changer
It shocks everyone to know that I had a Pretty Little Liars phase until I tell them that it was introduced to me as "a show with a lesbian love arc"
That's also why I still haven't completely stopped shipping Emily and Maya all these years later.

*sigh* Had a dream that I was listening to this song on repeat that was original Panic at the Disco with an Anthony Green feature 😫 why can't it be real???
Ughhhh why can't I get paid to play The Sims???
*note: Many people get paid to play The Sims. I am just not good at it.
I remember watching a VHS of Cats on Broadway when I was little and not liking it that much (but I was obsessed with the song "Mr. Mistoffelees" at the time) and my mom said she knows where I can watch it again, so all my plans for tv/movie watching are on pause until I've reacquainted myself with that weird shit
Just call me Ania Magliano the way I'm out of breath from dancing to Cats: The Musical at 1 in the morning
For the record, "taking my mind off shit" does actually have to do with being kicked off of the site I've used for my special interests since I was 18. For a lot of reasons, but majorly because I've spent 75% of my freetime in the past month working on a massive project that I planned on posting there. For free, mind you. I'm not trying to make a profit off of it. I'm trying to provide something fun for people for free, just because I want to. And I keep having to convince myself that it's not a waste of time just because it's not "productive," and now I'm feeling like it all has been a waste of time. And yet, here I am, still working on it for some reason.

Feeling sad about how life became reliant on tech and now the tech is failing us.
The tv-tracking app I've used for 8 years is shutting down and deleting all its data next week with only 2 weeks notice because there's no room on the internet for free services anymore.
The site I've been using for over a decade for my special interest in names implemented a subscription service today, even for their forums, and when the community started asking questions (including when it was taking effect) they locked us all out. They say it's because they can't compete with AI anymore.
I mean damn, I wanted to play The Sims to take my mind off of shit, and I decided it's too much trouble because it'll take hours to update the game, I'll have to mess with the memory/storage on my computer, and even once it's loaded, all my previous purchases stopped working months ago, and EA never responded to me. So what's the point?
I fucking miss real life, but I also miss when the internet was fun and not just a bunch of subscriptions and hurdles to get past. I miss using the internet because we wanted to, not because it was the only thing we had.
I know what movie I want to watch tonight. In the age of streaming, that should be easy, right? Nope. Because I'm not willing to spend $15 to watch a 40 year old film on my own laptop once. Is all the money I pay for all the damn subscriptions I have not enough?

Pulling up to my pharmacy in the part of the neighborhood that has signs on the garbage cans saying "NO NEEDLES"/where they hide the napkins in Dunkin Donuts and realizing I've been absolutely BLASTING "Jellicle Songs For Jellicle Cats" and now the people loitering outside are gonna know I'm easy to mug
I bought a ticket to see Nish Kumar while I'm in London, and my parents just watched his last special, and now they're coming with me, and they think he's one of the greatest comedians out there, and I'm just so happy I can't even describe 🥲 having someone you love genuinely love your special interest is so freaking cool
Wow... Circa Survive reunion show the day before I go to London... special interest brain is going CRAZY
