ever since I was little I knew I wanted to dedicate my formative years to imagining fictional scenarios

there's something about gotham batcat that I love. it is so interesting that selina is very much into bruce, someone to her that she felt comfortable with, and was on the same level as her in a way more than she'd care to admit. and they learn from each other. she thinks he's very weird, but she likes him anyway. but it's obvious that with selina's trauma with her childhood. especially being abandoned, that when bruce is affectionate with her in any way, she pulls back and shuts it down. and when she finally lets her walls down and fully lets him in. he leaves her. with bruce, he is so desperate to find someone his age to connect with. he wants a friend, so he unintentionally pushes too hard, and when pushed away, he feels heartbroken and takes it extremely personally by being the one to inflict that as well, to have some control when most of the other things in his life happened he couldn't control. and so when he leaves, it's HIS choice, HE is in control and that no one else can make that decision for him. even if it meant leaving the girl he loves most. and it's SO interesting. I live, I love!!!!

Give me less "being kind requires zero effort" and more "being kind is worth the effort it takes."
