For my 21st I decided I wanted to do a tea party. I’ve planned this since around May of 2014 so as you can see, it was a long time coming! I had a small group of friends I invited to the tea party because they are super close. Also the idea of baking for 30 is not a pleasant one.

It was really special too because it’s 150 years of Alice in Wonderland THIS year. Good timing eh?

Review: Stay With Me by J Lynn

Stay With Me by J Lynn (otherwise known as Jennifer L Armentrout) is the third book in the new adult series. There are connections between these books, often being friends. This is the first in the series that is away from a main group you may think it’d be about from reading previous books.

BOOKS

1) Obsidian by Jennifer L Armentrout. Aliens. HOT ALIENS. When does Halloween ever have hot aliens?

2) Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead. Vampires are a huge love of mine (no, I’m not kidding, I used to pretend cocktail sticks were stakes and stab my barbies with them as a kid) and this series as a whole is amazing but Vampire Academy is a short, quick and enjoyable read. There are more than one species of vampire in this too.

3) Find Me by Romily Bernard. A good thriller and a hunt for a killer. I read this quite quickly and don’t find many YA crime books.

4) ANY HARRY POTTER BOOK. REPEAT. WIZARDS. WEREWOLVES. LOTS OF MAGICAL THINGS. MURDEROUS SNAKE MAN.

5) Unspoken by Sarah Rees Brennan. I really love this book, it contains witches and spooky stuff like that. I know it isn’t majorly Halloween-y but I just <3.

MOVIES

6) The Nightmare Before Christmas. Because duh, Jack Skeleton.

7) Hocus Pocus. Because who doesn’t love a good 90’s film? If you’ve never seen it, you’ll notice the theme I’m going on. More witches.

8) The Descent. I’m actually making my boyfriend watch this on Halloween. Because I’m so romantic when celebrating seven months. Let us watch cave diving people who get attacked by weird creatures.

9) Resident Evil. She is so kick ass in this movie it almost makes me jealous. Also makes me want to open a can of whoop ass in to the air. *doesn’t do this. nope*

10) Buffy The Vampire Slayer. The movie (and tv show but SHH that is cheating) I do like, because it gets my vampire thrill in.
