"This is new," Tommy says, half breathless as he bites desperate kisses into Buck's chest.

He'd been itchy and restless over the holidays, feeling untethered to his body. When his regular artist posted a similar design on Instagram, he couldn't get it out of his mind as a solution. A new tattoo on the outside to represent how much he'd changed on the inside.
The artist had shown him some of the designs she'd been working on; all variations of classic biker tattoos. When Buck’s eyes landed on the winged skull with a helmet and goggles, he knew it was the one. He’d told himself it wasn't about Tommy—that it was a biker, anyway, not even a pilot—but he’d known he was lying to himself. He’d asked for two more tattoos in a totally different style just to pretend it wasn’t as intentional as it was.
The tattoos helped root him back into his body. A pilot on his chest, flowers on his knees, skin red and raw and in need of his careful attention to heal properly, and suddenly he felt more like himself than he had since Bobby died.
Tommy was already a permanent fixture under his skin. This was just an acknowledgement of it.
"Alright," Buck sighs. "Maybe- maybe it's a little about you."
Tommy rumbles out a noise and squeezes Buck’s pec harder. His teeth scrape over skin already rubbed raw by his stubble.
"We were broken up for over a year," Tommy says incredulously. "And you got a tattoo about me."
"Couldn't stop thinking about you," Buck admits. "I tried everything. Baking, un-uncle stuff, training Harry, even dating. But nothing- nothing worked. Couldn't get over you. Never will."
Tommy presses his face into Buck's neck. "Fuck, Evan."
His voice breaks as he rolls his hips against Buck's, his bare cock rubbing urgently against Buck's own.
