In honour of my account turning two and a year ago today drawing my first picture of @maisy7567's and I's kiddos (who soon quickly turned into found siblings) after we quickly started chatting about our lovely Ocs and became buddies. 🫶🥹

I present a sort of redraw of the first picture I drew of them together heading out to show Damian their 'Secret Hideout' when they're older and still heading out there when they can.

Thank you @maisy7567for reaching out when you did and coming together to create our beautiful art and stories that we have. 💙 I still get so excited whenever I get to create, talk about lore and see your art. It's awesome still getting to nerd out with you about our kiddos >:D

And of course, the first amazing drawing of our babies. 🫶

I found a little comic strip that I did back in 2022 of my TMNT au that I made where Splinter/Hamato Yoshi was able to escape Shredder with Teng Shen and Karai/Miwa and never found the turtles until they were a bit older.

So they ended up growing up on the streets rather than in the sewer with Splinter until he found them not long after moving to New York with his family.

I've finally finished drawing Damian when he arrived at Barton IV and met Mayday! >:D

When Damian was initially dropped off at Barton IV and under the clone's there care, he struggled with the freezing temperatures and snow after coming from a warm climate planet. He'd quite often got sick in the early months that he was there and would more often than not be unable to fall asleep at night.

Although he became better with handling the cold as time went on, he was often restricted inside the buildings to be kept warm and out of trouble from the planet's elements and hunters that raided the camp. Damian would often try to wonder outside of the building and parameter due to his curiosity, but never ended up getting too far before being caught and brought back.

I drew @maisy7567's and I's sweet little youngest ad builders fiddling away with a drone their working on together! I bet that they'd build all kinds of gadgets, toys and Maisy' bombs together! 🥹💙

Although I am now realising I forgot sweet little Maisy's 'X' hair clip, whoopies. 🥲

I also fully believe that anything that these two menaces cuties build would 100% need Tech's permission and inspection before they go ahead and play with it or test it. It'd likely save everyone and themselves from being accidentally blown up. 🤣

"TECH. TECH. TECH. TECH."

Also I used a base for the picture above here ^ because it was late and I was too slack to redraw it completely, though I did draw the hair.

I’d love to hear about Damian and Crosshair’s relationship! Did they meet at Tantiss? How did they feel about each other at first? Was it an instant bond or did it take time to build a relationship?

Does Damian have a bit a freedom being an Imperial officer’s son or is he treated like Omega where he’s basically a prisoner just treated a bit better?

Due to his hearing, does Damian know sign language? I guess for Star Wars like Galactic Sign Language?

Does Damian have any sort of weapon or gadget or backpack he uses?

Lastly (so I don’t overwhelm you sorry 😅) does Damian tell Crosshair about his family curse??

Hey bestie! Sorry for vanishing, I may or may not be currently re-rewatching Arcane after getting the dvds amd got hooked into it again amongst everything else. 🤣 So I apologise for vanishing!

As you know me, I am always happy to have a good 'ol lore dump >:D

Damian and Crosshair met when Cross was sent to Barton IV while Damian was under Maday's "care" after he was sent there ~6 months before. Initially they're relationship was annoyance (from Crosshair's side) from having this curious kid wandering around him and Mayday constantly, along with the many questions Damian would ask him. Later when Mayday died, they bonded with their shared grieth and Crosshair later felt sympathetic as Damian would be left by himself. Their relationship then slowly grew to a protective/comfort relationship through Tantiss until they escaped. They then grew a parental/kid relationship. (Because I wanted to see Crosshair to get the chance to be "parental" with his own kiddo, hence the creation of Damian lol 😆)

When Damian first got to Tanitiss, it wasn't until a bit later that they realised he was a son from an Imperial officer so he did get a little freedom to wonder under close watch away from the clones/cells. But they grew concerned about Tantiss' existence being released, and after trying to help Crosshair escape, he was kept prisoner with some experiments on him and his hearing.

Yes! Damian does know sign language! Although his knowlegde is a bit limited, he was taught when he was really little but moving around to different people and station's made it hard for him to continue learning. But he did pick some signs up from clones when they'd train.

Damian has a satchel that he puts things (such as tools) in that he thinks could be useful when tagging along on missions and everyday life. He also has a datapad that he often carries around too. I simply forget to actually draw it on him mostly, though I'd say he'd take it off when just relaxing and playing with his brother and sisters. When he's older, he uses a mix of pistols and a sniper (which he gets when he's much, much older lol).

Damian does eventually tell Crosshair about his family's curse after he starts to get affected by it. It does drive a wedge between them for a while as after Damian found out, he tried to distance himself from everyone to try and prevent them from being upset when he eventually passes, which causes arguements between the two. I have drawn some pictures about it but I currently am trying to recover it from the previous app I used to draw so I can continue it. 🥲

Finally back with my bestie, @maisy7567's and I's lovely kiddos!! I've missed drawing them so, so, sooo much. 🥺

Did a quick, little doodle (again, surprise surprise 😆) of Damian going out to seek out some comfort from his big brother and little sister after getting a bit too overwhelmed from the noise of the day.

What was Damian doing? How did he react? Did he know what happened to the Jedi? Does that warp his view on clones? Was he with Mayday when it happened? I’m so curious!

Damian hadn't really heard about Order 66 too much when it first happened, he mostly heard it through news/rumours that were going around that they had been killed off by the clones. He was pretty shocked when he heard about the news and did become a bit wary of clones after that, fearing for his safety and others as he didn’t really trust that the Jedi were traitors.

I think he'd definitely be the type of kid who would love listening to all the stories about Jedi, but he wouldn't have ever really met any besides in passing. (Until of course his precious brother and sister came along 🥺)

So I know Damian has been ‘transferred’ or shipped off to different planets due to his imperial father but I thought I read somewhere on your blog that there’s a curse of some sort on Damian’s family? Does he know??? If he does know, does he worry about it?

I’m also curious about the very first time Damian was sent away. Was he upset or did he have a distant relationship with his parents that he wasn’t too bothered? What is the scariest part for Damian during a transfer?

What does Damian think of the Empire? Does he know what his Imperial father does and if so, is he ok with it?

Does Damian know about clones and/or the Clones Wars? What is his view on clones—before meeting Crosshair?

Well hello there bestie! Thank you for the ask, and I'm so glad that you got so excited about my questions lol. I was so curious about it and can't wait to read your next fanfic chapter! >:D 🫶😍

Time for lots of lore. 😂😌

Yes, there is a curse on Damian's family that comes from his mother's side! It basically prevents anyone from surviving past the age of 25 but can take effect earlier on as well. (I'm honestly thinking of making a post about it, we'll see how that goes hahaha. I'm still kind of thinking bits through). But Damian doesn't find out about it until he's about 15 after a run-in with his father, who mentions it when Damian's been captured. Damian gets real freaked out by it (understandably) and starts to spiral and become more reckless but doesn't end up telling anyone once he gets back. 😓

The first time he got transferred/separated from his father was before the Clone Wars when he was about 2 to some family friends or his uncle (haven't quite decided yet lol). He was a bit upset at the thought of him being in a new place and without his father but ultimately had a bit more of a distant relationship from him. He doesn't remember his mother either besides some old photos too since she passed away when he was young.

But the scariest part for poor Damian of a new transfer would be not really knowing anyone there and trying not to be a 'bother' since he's mostly left to be supervised by the people/soldiers/clones there.

Because he was kind of left to a higher ranking person (such as a general, commander, etc.) he ended up LOVING and idealising the clones when they started to be stationed out around the place. Ultimately they were the ones who would give him little treats, some passing attention and tell him some stories, although it was still rare with the whole war going on. So by the time he was transferred to Barton IV to Mayday and his crew (and before Crosshair arrived) and grew closer to him, he started seeming some of them more as his family than anything else.

Then well and behold he gets practically adopted by one lol, so he thinks Clones are awesome and kind of wants to be like one if that makes sense. Hence the clone helmet when he gets older. 😆

In contrast, he doesn't really know too much about the Empire and only kind of hears about it through stories after he escapes Tantis. Damian doesn't like them at all during his childhood and that feeling just progresses as he gets older and understands it all a bit better. He doesn't really know too much about what his father does either as a kid, only hears about passing comments or rumours about him from both 'he sucks, he's responsible for a lot of bad stuff' to 'man he's a great asset to the Empire, he's awesome'.
